Yes folks, it's official. The creator of Bitcoin really is Aussie Craig White 2 May
I was going to use the headline " publicly reveals himself" but that would be a whole different story.
Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright has publicly identified himself as Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. and has provided technical proof to back up his claim using coins known to be owned by Bitcoin's creator.
Prominent members of the Bitcoin community and its core development team have also confirmed Mr Wright's claim.
The BBC, one of three media organisations - the BBC, the Economist and GQ- to whom White unveiled himself, has more here.
