HA smooths out price and gives an indication of trend.

I like simple systems... found one that works with heikin-ashi, trend following as it closes cross the 50sma with aggressive stop tightening.
Basically you're waiting for a clean break of the 50sma, entering on the close of the candlestick that crosses the line, then setting your stop at the other end of said candlestick. Trail your stop to the far side of the previous candlestick as it moves in your favour, so this aggressively tightens your risk with each period passing.
