could/can/do
dedicated charts containing XO indicators affect one another ? No they do not.

XO_Method REVISED
post # 166 ValeoFX:
"When you load the ZZ_4TF_XO onto your chart the first time, it will open up with a
window where the very first information input is a KirPER and irrespective of what it is,
change it to 6,5 as well please. (this is just to not cause any confusion)Below this, you have TF1, TF2, TF3, TF4 and immediately below that, you have the
KirPER1, 2, 3, and 4."
do you know what the very first KirPER does, is for ? I stated in my previous post to you that it is superflous and if I knew how to eliminate it without causing a problem, I would have. Hence the statement that you should set it @ 6,5 and just forget about it. I am NOT a programmer and I cannot find the gentleman that designed this indicator for me. So best is to follow my instructions as per your copy here.

does changing the first KirPER information input affect the XO in any way ? No, I have not seen any changes when I made them from 2 to 10, hence my previous sentence.

'no, don't know' answers will suffice
I'd appreciate explanations to 'yes' answers
I trust this answers your questions and if not, plse contact me via PM and I will give you my MSN / Yahoo / Skype IDs and we can sort it out quickly.

Wishing you a successful day.

thank you ValeoFX for answering my re-asked questions

I've mostly used MetaStock with the fx feed from the original MetaQuotes via Alpari
I very much admire the coding/programming skills of MT users and their generosity in
sharing their work, but since I can't code and am not familiar with MT have to ask what I
know to be annoyingly newbie questions asked many times before

I appreciate your patience ValeoFX and for providing me with the extra 'peace of mind'

You are most welcome, we have all started at some point.

Best wishes.

Hi ValeoFX, I'm still playing with the XO indicators and haven't yet had time to watch
charts or trade the setups I'm trying

would you care to comment on the attached 15m chart re the ZZ_MTF_XO_2
bottom default at 240m, middle at 60m, top is the 4 TX XO2 at default

the yellow VLs mark the beginning of the 240 signals
I'm surprised the signals appear before the others, particularly those at the
2nd and 3rd lines - left to right - both signals beat the 60 and 4 TX

Someone is using ZZ_MTF_XO_2

A best indicator doesn't exist

Hi Ace,

First an apology for not responding sooner. I was not on the Forum on Monday and had connectivity issues with my service provider all day today.

Secondly, it is now obvious to me that you have not had this chart open for long enough. Remember what I said............."you need a dedicated chart for all the MTF indicators" no exception. Read the numerous posts on the subject. Reason is obvious.

The reason why the bottom one "outperformed" the other 2 is very simple - it is after the fact and therefore the reading that you see is at the close of that H4-candle. On the 15M-chart it encompasses 16 candles and therefore you will see a result like this most of the time. Some times you see them all lining up perfectly, but that is the exception rather than the rule.

In true terminology, this is NOT repainting and I do not wish to belabour this point ad nauseum, so please forgive me for not visiting there again.

My best advice remains.................keep the charts open for long enough so that you can see how this incredible oscillator performs. It is an outstanding piece of work by its creator, Sharipov Anyur.

Best wishes.
