Hi Ace,

Yes of course it is possible. Just drag the indicator across from the Custom Indicators and drop it in on top of the XO. I also do that to save space. If you have a problem, let me know again, but I don't want to teach you how to suck eggs.

Best wishes.

ValeoFX, know how to suck eggs, just can't figure out
the drag and drop

"Just drag the indicator across from the Custom Indicators
and drop it in on top of the XO."
XO and Stochastic indicators are on the chart each in
their own window
none of the indicators in Menu/Indicators/Custom will
drag and drop, the Stochastic is the first in the list in
Menu/Indicators and doesn't drag and drop either

? ? ? ? ?

Ace, lets try it this way:

First put the XO-4TF into the first window below the candles (it should be there anyway if you use my Template)

Now go to the Stochastic indicator you wish to put on top of the XO. Highlite it by left-clicking the indicator and hold it down - move the cursoor to the right and you will see a little "envelope-like" object appearing at the tip of your cursor - now you know that it is following your cursor. Once you get your cursor over the XO-window, jusr let go of the mouse and the Stochastic window will open up in front of your eyes. Do whatever you wish to do to the Stochastic and close it. The Stochastic will now appear on top of the XO. It is really THAT simple.

Sorry, I cannot be of any more help.

Best wishes.

thanks again ValeoFX for your help, but following your instructions no
'little "envelope-like" object' appears ???
I'll email Alpari who are providing the demo and ask them what's going
on — let you know what they have to say

I did not follow this discussion sorry but as i understand you are talking about how to to place the standard MT4 Stochastic indicator on top of the other indicator. So, look at this small video.

Hi ValeoFX

does it make any difference to individual XO indicators with different KirPER settings
on individual charts, if one is using 3 charts/timeframes -- 1, 5, 15min ? thinking about
're-painting' and wondering if they might interact in some way

I understand the change that results based on the value set in the KirPER 1,2,3,4 but
what is the first KirPER for ? when a value is set there how/what does it affect ?

I metioned in my early Posts that the very first KirPER is superfluous - meaning that it should in fact not even be shown. I just don't know how to delete it otherwise it would have been done. So just ignore the very first one.

Naturally the different settings make a difference, why do you think I have come up with the different settings? It took me more than a year to find the correct settings (or at least the best I could find after hours and hours of research)

You keep on mentioning "repainting" and I thought I had explained that one to you quite carefully. So, if you still do not understand it and after you should have read the entire Thread, then there is nothing that I can do to change your misconception, I am indeed very sorry.

Also, please read the very first sentence in the second Post where I discuss the individual indicators and there specifically the XO. You need a dedicated TF - end of story.

Best wishes.

ValeoFX, the above questions are based on what you have stated:

XO_Method REVISED
post # 151 ValeoFX:
"The MTF indicators DO repaint
ONLY if you switch between TFs"
I asked — for the first time —
could/can/do
dedicated charts containing XO indicators affect one another ?

XO_Method REVISED
post # 166 ValeoFX:
"When you load the ZZ_4TF_XO onto your chart the first time, it will open up with a
window where the very first information input is a KirPER and irrespective of what it is,
change it to 6,5 as well please. (this is just to not cause any confusion)
Below this, you have TF1, TF2, TF3, TF4 and immediately below that, you have the
KirPER1, 2, 3, and 4."
do you know what the very first KirPER does, is for ?
does changing the first KirPER information input affect the XO in any way ?

'no, don't know' answers will suffice
I'd appreciate explanations to 'yes' answers
