I will be online this afternoon................

I will be back this PM and reply to any further questions.

It seems that I have a problem posting my reply to Cubesteak, so I will try later again.

Sorry.

2 questions for you:

1) I must ask a little forgiveness on this question, I'm sure it is probably in the back history somewhere, but I can't bear the thought of going back through ALL the posts for the THIRD time to find it! What are the extra indicators on your main chart screen? All the circles, dots and triangles? Looks like an a nice entry signal that is a bit different than what is included in Moneyline's "distribution" of the system.

I do apologise for those to have "slipped through", but they are proprietry for now at least. I will take them off before posting next time - sorry guys!

Looks like it has some different indicators for different entry strengths, and it looks like you might be using a different ASCTrend signal as well?

The AscTrend is precisely the same one MoneyLine posted - mine is set to MM @ 5 as per my post and MoneyLine did not change it.

Also, what are the little colored dots directly on the candles? I can't figure that out. Those are the KPSArrow_Mod a la Valeo version - I suggest that you don't worry about them as you have enough to get use to for now. It is not propriety though and readily available, but I suggest you stay away from them for now.

If you wouldn't mind giving a quick list of them, I'd be very grateful. Are they downloadable from this forum?

2) On Woodie's suggestion of 22 seconds - do you use a specific bar timer? MT4 doesn't seem to have one built in, unless I'm completely blind. Which of course, is always a distinct possibility! I am attaching the CLOCK here for you.

Thanks again for your great work............Thank you for recognising the excellent work the guys are doing here - it is not only me.

Very best regards,
cubesteak

EXIT signal..........one of..........

Attached is an example of how to use the XO_method to exit the trade if everything else seems to tell you that the trade had run its course, naturally.

I draw a level ±1 in GREEN and then on top I overlay the level ±3 in RED.

When the Stochastic turns (my latest setting thax to Harold4X is @ 15/5/5), you wait until the BAR hits the -3 level in this attached example before you quit. The reason being that if it changes colour to one level up/down, it may just be "retracing" and the trade may be strong enough to carry on. I take it that once it reaches level ±3, three timeframes have changed and one need to gets out.

Hope it helps.

Best wishes and good trading.

I need to understand your Post 524. The GREEN and RED bar in the 4TF XO2 window is for exiting a position possibly. While the Stoch window is just used as a confirmation to the other indicators, is that correct?

To all:

I haven't been as active at the forum since I started working my regular day job again. I can't trade either the NY or the London market....what a shame!

Anyhow, I do come and visit and look around. I will become more active when the rush is over and I can have some more time. I love this forum and all that happens here. Just because I haven't been around doesn't mean I'm not interested, I just don't have as much time as I used to.

I kindly thank all the membership for the sharing and learning, the camaraderie. You are the reason this forum is so special.

Yours,

moneyline

FULL GREEN / RED obviously that all 4 timeframes are in agreement and that the trade may be on.

When the FULL colours change, apply what I had written in the post.

Stochastic shows one of 2 things: either the position of the present cycle or divergence.

In this instance the Sto. was going down and the signal came on XO, so you had to exit.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.

New Xo believer

Hello, I have been following this thread with great intrest. I really like what I have seen this week. I have tried lots of ea's over the year in testing. Simply, I have yet to find something that is as consistent as a good manual trading system.

I have modified the catfx50 to what I find gives good results. Having said that I really like the xo-method. I find the tf5 suites my style. Get in with a good signal and out with a good exit signal.

Hats off to everyone who has contributed and made it a good method.

Just one thing. I have tried to enter some of the current settings into a template, but for what ever reason can not. Is it possible for someone to post a template that reflects the screen shot in post 524? I would really appreciate it.

Thanks ever so much.

Darren
