I also took the liberty to code the indicator's levels directly from the settings instead of been hard coded, so they reflect the indicator's settings.

Yannis and Valeo..

One more special request... on your great Double woodie cci version you did Yannis, can you add the feature that when either alert is used, ie
trend and/or entry cci alert, we get a pop up alert telling which pair?

Standard mt4 pop up would be great, just saying trend or entry cci
alert on x pair at x time. I would appreciate it..and useful
when you have a few pairs on looking for different alerts.

If you are able... appreciate it!!

Brian

Today's trades...

This is the first trade this morning short @ 08h10 on my charts (CET) for ±30 pips.

Note the TRIX indicating the Short ahead of time due to divergence.

The next trade is the LONG @ 09h05 when everything was in agreement. It is suggested that a trade such as this where the TRIX crosses at the ZERO-line, is a stronger trade than any other. I cannot confirm that as yet, but then I did not develop this indicator either.

Note the Magenta-coloured indicator just above the 8 and 15-CEMAs? That is the TEMA_MTF and I only use the Magenta line for TREND. May I suggest you try it out. Thanks to Gerhard.

I will post the LONG entry after this, followed by the SHORT in the afternoon.

Best wishes.

The LONG @ 09h05 today...

The LONG entry needs no discussion IMHO. Here the cross of the TRIX is clearly evident.

This afternoon's trade...

Two things are evident here:

1. CCi-5 overheated.

2. TRIX divergence confirmed and everything else was in place.

Total value of this trade was ± 100 pips.

Any comments please?

Wink Just want to comment...

I really like the whole setup, but for me the game changing new pieces
for my trading have been the plot overlay and the trix. Those two
contributed a good deal to my consistency, especially on
short tf trading.

Thanks

Brian

Todays Action

Looks like you had a couple nice entries!

Unfortunately I started my day with a small loss when I was apparently way late to the game and entered at 06:25 (zulu) after price closed below a usual resistance line, nothing was overheated, and the cci-28 crossed -54. Thankfully I got out with minimal damage and recovered the loss with a long at 07:00Z.

I have not been trading with the TRIX but after seeing how helpful it would have been today I will be giving it a try and learning what I can this week.

Valeo-
What was your reason for exiting your 8:05 trade for +30? Other than just a take profit level im not sure I would have done so there (well duh given that I entered)...

Any special reason you waited until 09:05 (your charts) to go long. Seems like a clear signal at 9:00 with the cci cross, close above the CA-8 and STC moving up...

Always good to see your trades and thanks for the help!

Hope everyone else had a great day as well!

-Ace
