Strategy Tester EA
Hi

I thought about this the other day. Why don't you guys give produce a long list of iCustoms commands or iwhatever command for all of the indicators. In the input box put use the indicator then it will have the ususal parameter changes for each indicator.

So if we hear something like my strategy is the best in the world. We would ask what are the indicators that you use. Make those as selections from our indicator juke box and test it in a demo account. We just have to go thru each and every indicator to make sure it is firing correctly test them on m1 chart in a choppy non trending market. We should not care about if it is making money or not just that it is firing everything else will follow.

Make a list of all of the icustoms commands or ima etc.. that you can think of and I will continue my work of this as I had planned to do this but am sharing the idea because I want it available for the community good and not locked away just to myself.

If you make one, anyone that reads this send me one too and make it available free to the people.

What I want to do is just replace those simulated ticks by "real" ones. One thing I do not know is if it will not unallow M1 time frame correct use (I think so because I do not know how MT could manage different bars for a same minute.

Important: I still have to test it so if someone found it works or not, please tell it!

this post was a kind a thinking loud and we just need a tick data to fxt (tester history) converter. But I still do not know how to generate it. I follow on and will tell you if any success.

Wait for next release (approx in 2 weeks) there will be help and interface for strategies and indicators.

You have to download a Personal version of Delphi (6, 7, 8 or 2005). After what you open the Dll strategy project in Delphi and hit the Build button after what you have your DLL created , place it in the good directory of Forex tester and Here we go

You have to translate your MQ4 expert into Delphi code using the Forex Tester interface with Delphi, build the DLL and after use it in Forex Tester.

Your skill in Delphi, programming must be great to use the Forex Tester !!!
