High volatility , low accuracy =/= good mortality

Let's have a free expression on opinion

high volatility is very tempting

how to have a good strategy[ I don't believe in strategy much, otherwise, I am heading to EA direction , but maybe we need a strategy to expose to profit while limiting our possible Loss]

for highly volatile pairs

with a reasonable buffer (so we don't get wrong entry if there a little spike in just 1 bar ]

-- to make a Spectacular splashing entry with about 80% accuracy

-- hard to set SL though for highly volatile pair, if we are going to win big, SL must be huge

personally, I think horizontal line R/S is misleading

but weekly S1 S2 R1 R2 might play a role in these volatile pair destination (exit point)

welcome to put some indicator, screen capture of your chart here

esp if you know that it work very well in LIVE testing (historical chart only show us textbook cases, not that real and alive / kicking )

in this diagram -- trading is very simple for HUGE volatility pairs

http://tiny.cc/81j1y

when the MA go flat -- you draw 2 rectangle -- a custom function in the tool bar (right click to add rectange)

then the inner dark blue rectangle is confirmed for about 10 hours i.e. this strategy is quite good -- as most indicator won't work for large volatility pairs

do you have better method ?!

J_vanheulen@live.com... volatility is based on whether the market

has something to get exited about. like fishing. if you are fishing for small fish

it is lazy day. if you are fishing for big fish your heart starts pumping and

the fishermen so quiet earlier start chattering.

what does the market get excited about? the market gets

excited over you!!! when price action has psychologically

enticed you and thousands of traders like you into the market

in the wrong direction, then the market will get excited.

first the market will activate as many trades as it can with a collector candle! and then move for your stops.

this happens on a smaller time frame basis.

this can happen on all time frames basis. the more the bigger time frames are involved, the stronger the volatility!!

nah

you can put your email correspondence here [won't give you my secret email] -- I am searching a combo indicator that measure volatility and pip spread and cycle -- i.e. detect uniformity , so as, I won't bet during irregular cycle time , I am happy to give up half of the cycle and don't trade with that
