I have been intriqued by the volatility of Gold since I learned I could trade it. For about 4 months I have been testing different ideas for taking advantage of this. I recently found a great entry method but i still struggle to find a good exit method. So this is a request!! Lets try some stuff.

CHART SETUP.

Take Keltner channels and place them on your 30 min chart twice
settings 1 10,1 white
settings 2 10,2 yellow

My broker is North Finance. So at 14:30 broker time you place a straddle set of orders at the yellow bands.

When one of the orders is hit you cancel the other.

Stoploss for your orders is the opposite white band.

Take Profit is ?????????

Below the template has the stuff setup and vertical lines at the entry points so you can visually backtest easier. Actual results would vary as there is still not a reliable exit strategy. On the pictures look at the cross of the horizontal and vertical lines for your entry.

If it wins more than 50% of the time then you can use the size of SL as your TP.
