Hi guys
i have been demo trading for almost a year
i have blown up 5 accounts
but my last acount has lasted because i am
using divergence set ups with cci 14 and stoch 8-3-3
is there any people who want to share experiances with that kind of trading?

Divergence works, but you got to play with it for a long time.

Think in terms of 'threes'...

Hi
for the euro i use the 15 min and 30
because i think gives better set ups
as for the GBP even the 5 gives good set ups but even if i have a good set up it might go against me more than i would like
i also look for the waves of divergence to have some good distance between them
for example in a trend price will stall at some point and go back for a bit given you a divergence between prices and indicators BUT it will just go on in the direction of the trend put
i have attached a pic of the euro to see what i mean what i mean
taken today

am attaching another example of divergence just before the good one
trend is down cci gives div but stoch doesnt i would not take that set up
there is no wave and no distance the chances of going lower straight away are greater the going to the right direction
by the way this one worked ok
BUT am practicing with div and in most cases like this one its a bad set up
Regards

By the way Thruline
what do you mean think in therms a threes?

I love divergence!! Here is the FX5 Divergence Indicator in the pics above. One of the best ones I have seen.

greatlakes yes this a good indicator
the problem i have with that indicator is that it seems it doesnt refresh in my platform i use the stoch signlas alerts to alert me when there is a change
then refresh the chart to see if the fx5 has div together with cci and stoch
it would sooo helpull if somebody could look in to that and also an alert when the signals on fx5 apear
as you saw that example above this was a perfect set up and the stoch signal gave a good exit in my opinion

By the way Thruline
what do you mean think in therms a threes?

Here's divergence buy on cable. Price shows three lower lows as indicator shows higher lows. You buy on confirmation--that can be trendline break, crossing a MA, whatever you choose. Most triple divergences combined with a confirmation of some kind provide a profitable move. Some of the moves are big. Others are brief reversals.
