Hi Linuxser,

You're right. I'm maria77. I've created FXOperator so that ppl will relate easily with my technique and my blog website.

The 5-min filter is more suitable for those able to trading manually. I would suggest ppl who don't have time, it is better to set a buy / sell orders.

Regarding the performance, since I've been trading for two months, the return avg is about 5% per week modestly speaking. I don't know how consistent this method will be. I will explore more ideas and hope to keep it as profitable.

As you all know, I've been trading looking at the market price action, and there's something I would like to share.

If you look at the chart (Cable) itself, you will see there is usually a range formed before the European or the US market opens. And by looking at the high and low formed within that range, you will look to enter the market by setting buy/sell stop orders when it breaks out of that range. Sometimes, the first breakout is a false alarm, but by repeating the entries, you can still make some pips out of it.

Just wanted to know if you still use the Daily Open-SR Technique or are you just using the AHAL Technique now? I actually started using your AHAL system on a live account today and easily bagged 15 pips. Can't thank you enough for sharing your ideas to us. I've been reading pretty much all your posts, articles, strategies, techniques on this tread and your website. I'm actually getting a headache from reading all this continously in the past two days. Maybe you can point me in the right direction as to what strategoes I should concetrate on. Which ones are you currently using live and which ones strategies are you currently using on a demo.

Hi francob604,

Currently I'm using mainly on the AHAL and Igrok's pattern recognition methods for live trading. I've ceased using the DOSR as the AHAL is performing better than it. However, I leave the technique available nonetheless because it is from reading and learning others' systems that we are then able to think out of the box to create your own. Probably someone can benefit and improve it.

Glad that you are reading systems online and eventually, what's important is that you are able to find one that suits your personality. Don't follow a trader, but follow your heart and do what it is right for you.
