I am visiting all the posts in the forum in the day posted. So I saw your post of course. The reason that I did not reply is that I did not knw about how to react.
Don't bother with this, it's just another bullcrap strategy after the effect method that really is hit or miss, I came across it and tested it fully a few years ago, it's no use in real trading. You might as well flip a coin, snake oil alert.
I see that my post was moved to an old thread. Seems rather adversarial to me because of some negative posts that were made, but evidently I guess I am called on to respond to these prior posts. I wish I had been aware of them when they were posted, but I typically do not drop in at forums.
For one, I see some have made comments such as Fred referring to what I do as flipping a coin. I am not sure what happened with Fred, but it is amazing that I can be using this every day in my own trading and traders around the world can be using the technique to make money and yet Fred has a problem. This is not vague; you just have to learn how to use it properly. Obviously Fred did not. No matter how much you test something if you are doing it wrong then the results will turn out poor. Since I make myself available to all students for additional training including live trading sessions there really is no excuse for a comment like this from Fred. You cannot have live trading sessions using something no better than flipping a coin.
I also see someone questioning the originality of my work. The equation is over a hundred years old and is one used in electronic wave analysis. Amacher did nothing more than take it from probably the same place I did, if he used the same thing at all. I have never read his work and so I cannot make much of a comment on it except this; my conversation with this individual made it clear that if Amacher did have something similar at best it was a very basic version of what I teach. There were a number of aspects that were not covered, such as timing adjustments. If this is all a person knows about the method then I would say that Fred would be correct is stating that flipping a coin would have the same result.
What I don’t understand is that all I was doing was providing signals and yet my post is moved to a thread that is over a year old? What is the purpose of that except to drum up controversy? Everyone here is free to review the signals and judge them on their own merits.
Adjustng the time for GMT is simply a matter of subtracting 5 hours to the time. This is based on the same as New York time.
I use a free program called Qlock for time adjustments that can be downloaded or you can use their web site to make a conversion. The link is http://www.qlock.com/
There are a number of web sites that will do a conversioon for you. So you can also search for other sites if you don't like this one.
