while researching and developing some WILD trading ideas, i discovered some odd behavior, so i have done a trading plan for this:

Broker:
**** Mini Account 400:1 Leverage (50% MarginHedge, 1 Lot=$10,000)
EDIT: removed the broker name

Pair:
USD/JPY 2pip spread

Rules:
enter every 1 hour one "hedge":

buy 1 x 0.1 MiniLot
sell 10 x 0.01 MiniLot

until you have reached 95% of your avail. margin

Margin need: $12.5 / hedge
Spread cost: $0.4 / hedge

Swap calculation:
Mo: 0.14 - 0.10
Tu: 0.14 - 0.10
We: 0.42 - 0.40
Th: 0.14 - 0.10
Fr: 0.14 - 0.10

Total profit per Week: $0.18 / hedge
Total profit per month: $0.77 / hedge (x 4.3)

Pros:
-) zero risk, fully hedged

Cons:
-) works only on mini account
-) the broker can change the interest at any time
-) this strategy work due lack of interest calculation in MT, the broker may consider this as abuse

Summary:
after the first 2 weeks, the spread cost should be covered
after this this pay you 74% interest per year !

if you have a $10,000.- mini account and 800 of this hedges running, this will generate $616.-/month

not bad, for (nearly) zero risk !

hope you like it - a EA would help to reduce the work and slippage from manual entering ...

PS: this will work literally with any broker with MT4, 0.01 Lotsize on Miniaccount, High Leverage, and most important high MarginHedge (50-100%) and a good "wrong" interest pair

Thanks for sharing this nice idea, but in practise this system doesn't seem advisable to me.

Transferring $10,000 to a broker and starting this system I bet after a week they have got you end enjoy your wasted spread and the huge cost of retransferring your money.
