Hi,

I wanted to know how you trade with this indicator. Are you waiting for the price to cross the resistance/support line only? Or we have to wait for the price to close above the resistance line or below support line? Or we have to wait for a second candle stick confirmation?

I was trying this indicator for a while, but as soon at it crosses a line, I enter and then the price reverses and goes in the other direction :-(((

Cheers,
Daniel

Itīs little more complicated than that. You need, first, to know about TD qualifiers (the 5 qualifiies). In short: Always depends on previous candle.

You can start with the first book of TD, pretty easy to understand.

Hi Linuxser,

Thank you very much for your answer. I'll check the book. Are you using this system for live trading? It would be nice if it really had the 90% success rate.

Cheers,
Daniel

Itīs not a system, only a method to draw trendline breaks and then validate the breakout.

Demark ideas are present in my trading since my first days in the game. Specially to set targets.

The success depends on trader not in the system/method.

Hi,

What are the last two Qualifiers? I could find the first three only.

Do they have to confirm all, or only one is enough to confirm the breakout?

Best regards,
Daniel

Thumbs up

so for EURGBP, Thursday, 6/14/07:

http://img2.imagetitan.com/img.php?i...p06142007b.gif

I'm going to buy on the breakout @ 0.6745, exit @ Fibo 50% retracement 0.6767; because of qualifier 1: the price bar prior to an upside breakout must be a down close.

Let's see if it works.

Ibfx Gps

IBFX-GPS is using the almost the same method.
I never have time to check the profitibility of the signals.
It give losts of signals every day.
As far as I know it give lots of false signals.
Some one has made an EA using IBFX-GPS like signals.
Just can't find it now.
