How to make charts less than 1 minute?
I would like to have some candlestick charts that are less than 1 minute. I found an old thread of something similar that i would like, however, it is out dated and it was for MT4 (and it didnt work when i tried it). is there any way i can view 15 second charts in mt5?

I know that it is an old question, but the name of the thread reminded me that it might be used for clarifying some things about metatrader 5

The answer is : if you have noticed metatrader 5 does not have a "open offline" in it's menus any more, which means that metatrader 5 does not support those any more. So no more tick charts, custom time charts, renko, constant range bars and similar. Solutions like this Save history to HST - MQL5 Code Base are saving metatrader 5 data to metatrader 4 format (the reason for doing so remains a mystery to me) but so far I haven't seen a single example or a hint how to work with metatrader 5 custom data files

Hello everyone,
I'm recently doing an expert advisor (EA) in mq5 using the editor of meta trader.
I would like to know if it is possible to introduce a value while an EA is running. I mean, for example, have a text box where I can periodicly introduce data.
If not, is it possible to make the EA reading from a file a number that is constantly changing?
