I have a very simple system that I'd like to automate using MetaTrader. I don't know MQL4, and although I've read the documentation and have gone through the tutorials on here, I still need someone to help me write it.

For a solid programmer, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. It's really simple. If i can get something that works and compiles, I can tweak and add to it from there.

Can someone please help me?

When I get it working profitably, I will share it with you of course.

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a simple EA that will enter on EMA cross only if CCI is above 100?

Here would be the extras...

1. EMA = Close
2. CCI - Be able to change period
3. Lots - 0.01 (Nano Lots)
4. Stop Loss
5. Take Profit
6. Trailing Stop
7. Slippage
8. Max Spread
9. Magic Number

Hiya folks.

I have two indicators that I like to use, but had to modify them in order to use them together. I think it makes them a little easier to use, either by themselves for preference sake, or simply in conjunction with others.

Indicators:

EJ_CandleTime - Modified time to be easier to read (2h35m41s), and added a true/false flag so that you can make it stop changing the "comment text" in the upper left, as that will often get in the way of other indicators.

Market-Value - Modified it so that it will display the cost per tick on .1 and .01 lots. I know you can simply do math and figure that out, but most don't want to bother. Also modified time so that it reads hours/min/sec instead of min/sec. (It will still read min/sec if the time left is less than an hour.)

I understand these aren't great or significant changes, but some may find them useful.

hi all! i need a little help to change this indicator because i want to use it in an EA
the condition in the ea is to check the value of the buffers>0
so if buffer 0 is > 0 open a trade

the point is that this indicator when buffer 0 has the right value for buy, buffer 1 has very high and nonsense value and not zero!!!
can you please help me out???

in the ea if the value is >3000 then make it =0

Hi,
Please someone code for me this simple EA..

1. EA waits for a trend and places a BUY or sell order.

2. If it places Buy ,it sets a stops loss at 15 pips . Also sets a Sell limit at Stop Loss point. If it goes to profit , it sets a profit locking trailing stop which opens at +10 pips and then trails 2 steps each )

3. If the price falls at Stop loss the Sell is opened.

( Same rules of above follow )

If profit is achieved, wait for the trend again and place an order accordingly. ( This is because profit was achieved since the Trailing stop was triggered meaning, actually the trend has reversed.)

Trend Indicator can be anything, as logically both sides will work and for any currency pair and any time frame.
