First of all, I may only have SIGNED UP as a member to THIS forum only a month ago, but I have been trading probably for a whole lot longer then you have... but that’s besides the point.

Secondly, yes I know that EAs trade without emotion whereas humans do. That’s why the majority of the 90% of people that trade lose money, because they let their emotions control how they trade. But those who get their psychology right make money because the 90% of the systems out there work. The problem is that people are always looking for the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail is already out there available to the public. The only problem is that traders keep skipping from method to method so no matter how many times it’s been posted you will have one loss with it and move onto another system.

And finally, if EA’s were as good as you are making them out to be then like I said... why would anyone need to work? If they are as good as you make them out to be why did you start this thread here?

where even you said “Let’s see if we can find an EA that’s decent”. If there was a decent EA you’d be trading it already rather then asking for help to try and find one. If Bluto has a profitable EA then good luck to him. He’s one in a million for coming up with a fully mechanical system that constantly makes money in all market conditions. And if you are trading using an EA and making money, then good luck to you too. You are one in a few. Anyways, enough on that, we are hogging OZFX’s thread.

Just an update. I quit the "EA face off thread" because I didn't get one response. Turns out my EA is quite good. I have the forward testing results to prove it. Will I post them. Maybe. Not that it would matter to you. Good luck.

Jturns23... I believe you that your EA makes money. I think though that if you were to trade that same system manually and pick and chose which trades to take, like only when the market conditions are right for that system... then obviously you would make even more money, yes? Do you trade manually at all or just using EAs? Good luck to you too

Fx_chick. First off let me apologize for being rude. Secondly to answer your question, I only trade my EA, I don't trade manually. Especially since it trades on the 1 hr time frame. I don't have the patience to sit at my computer and watch each hour go by. My idea before was to compare EA's. Including using my own. The catch was it was forward testing only, no backtesting garbage. No one responded, so I abandoned my thread. I will not post my results, I have nothing to prove anymore. My EA makes money, I could care less who believes me. I would like to thank those on this forum who helped me though. The input I got was amazing. Those of you who helped me know who you are. I am not abandoning this forum by any means. You can never stop learning. Thanks to all.
