I'm afraid I don't have the CADJPY pair. I am forward-testing using IBFX mini and it only have 8 pairs I'm afraid.

Could you post your CADJPY chart?

OzFx's chart is definitely different from mine. There are times I received his email saying a signal has arrived on a certain pair and he opened trades, but when I look at my own charts, there was no signal. I think different brokers have slightly different charts from each other - meaninng they are not 100% identical. This doesn't occur very often though, maybe once in a blue moon.

BTW, the present EA is still buggy. The last version which is version 1.4 is the most stable out of the lot. It is 90% more accurate compared to version 1.5

I use ODL demo for charting and seems to work better than other brokers. They all pop daily candles at different times and that what makes it look different.

What a great week we had. We banked a total of +550 pips. Two of our previous trades from week before reached +300 each and two from this week reached +100 and few +50. Here is the summary of the trades:

1. EUR/CAD---Closed ( from week before) --- +300
2. EUR/USD---Open ( from week before) -----Locked +200 Currently at +270
3. CAD/JPY--- Open --------------------- ----Locked +100 Currently at +42
4. GBP/USD---Closed ------------------------ +100
5. USD/JPY---Open --------------------------Locked +50 Currently at +23
6. EUR/GBP--- Open-------------------------Locked +50 Currently at +44
7. EUR/AUD---Closed ----------------------- +50
8. CHF/JPY--- Open------------------------- Currently at -38

Total for the month: +1070. So far we have 32/37 successful trades

Please note that we are trading on daily charts and there are times when we see pullbacks in prices before it goes in our favor. Most of the time 100 pip Stop Loss works fine but in some cases it won't work and thats why we came up with ASL. Read ASL to learn how to put smarter SL.

I also want to let you know that I'll away for next three days on business/holiday trip and won't be able to send email alerts. I would still manage my open positions and would report profit/loss when I come back. Perhaps it is good time for everyone to practice on their own

Here is the latest version of the OzFx EA. This version is probably the closest I can get to OzFx's methodology. Unfortunately it won't be able to capture all 100% of the signals due to the signals keep on repainting itself, but it is close.

I have decided to ditch ver 1.5 as it is performing worst.

Run it on as many pairs as you possible can get out of the major currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD, JPY, AUD and NZD. There should be a total of 28 combination out of these majors. I have set the default Risk=1, which should be safe.

This EA must be switched on 24/7. If you restart this EA, it will "forget" its already opened trades and will start all over again. So if that happens, you will need to do some manual clean-up.

I'm closing the development on this EA for now, but welcome anyone else to pick it up for if you can improve it further. I will attempt to write OzFx's next strategy which is the Squeeze-More.

It is good to be back home. I had a nice short vacation and I am so glad to see that people have kept the forums busy and alive in the meantime. I’d loads of email/PMs to reply back and I hope everyone received the reply. I also tried my best to read every single post on the forums and reply where ever I could. If I’ve missed out on anyone then please send me an email and I’ll reply back to you.


When I left we had 5 trades open, out of which EUR/USD performed just great. I closed it at +445 pips at 1.5000. If you are still in the trade then you should be looking at +530 pips right now.


EUR/GBP second lot closed at +100, currently at +130.
CAD/JPY closed at BE after making +100.
CHF/JPY got closed out at -150.
And finally USD/JPY closed out at BE after making +50


GBP/CHF trade from today had already made +50 and I’ve moved the Stop Loss to Break Even

Total for the month now is +1265 and so far we have 33/39 successful trades.

Hi all. I discovered this system over at another forum. Might as well follow it here.
I took the USD/JPY short at the open of the week and currently sitting on it at +200 with +140 locked in with a generous trailing stop
Swing trades are where the money is really. Forget the 5min scalps.
Thanks for sharing OzFX. This is something quite remarkable and simple to use.

OzFx, welcome back from your holiday Hope you had a good rest.

I've been looking at the pairs, and I must say each of them has their own unique characteristics: some are big swingers, some are ultra-volatile, and some are just sitting around watching the sun goes by.

Do you use the same principle on all pairs? Or is there any pair treated differently? Or any pair you tend to avoid alltogether?
