great system, i'm really having a diffucult time deciding whether to use soothsayer or braintrader. both are proving excellent in demo'ing. I have found that the 1hr/15min method works great for BT.

Just scroll down and look for Soothsayer thread.

Soothsayer

Hi, Mart!

"Set-up
Forget about time frames to begin with, this can and does work on any time frame, but I’ll explain later how I use it…How you then use it is up to you.
Okay, the main chart is set up using Super Trend and 2 ema’s set to 20 and 34.
I have Super Trend set to ‘2’ on the 1 min and 5 min charts and ‘3’ for anything above that
".

Can you please post that Super Trend indicator where it is possible to set parameters?

Thank you!

super trend

Hi, Newdigital!!

Thank you, knew where they were. The point is that in "Soothsayer pdf" the author stresses he changes parameters.

Look at those two Super Trend indicators. There is not the possibility to change parameters.

Yes But Rob uses the Charts from D4F

The Supertrend 2 has been made to mimic the D4F supertrend indicator the Met4 Supertrend cant be re set

The point of Soothsayes is the 50 cci with a 14 cci trigger.

I dont like the Met 4 Supertrend and the system works just as well with LSMA/TriggerLines/BT/Silvertrend. Just something to confirm

50 CCI = Trend
14 CCI = Trigger

Soothsayer with BT on Fridays Cable 15 min chart.

You can set alerts on the double CCI and BT

Hi Mart, could you tell what is BT or the circle dots on the chart and where can I get that indicator. Could you explain a little about your choice of indicators and settings. I see what looks like fractals. It seem as if it would make a good indicator for entry and exits. Well whatever it is could you please enlighten me a bit. And why use lwma and not a ema.
