When I try to run the strategy tester I get the following error message in my journal " no data for testing " also "error in reading USDJPY file". How do I get data for testing. I went to the history center and clicked on USDJPY 15 min as that is what I want to run the test on. Any help appreciated.

I think you must first open USDJPY 15 min chart in your MT4 wait until all data appears ...it's means that MT4 finish downloading your USDJPY 15 min chart data from your server...then try to run strategy tester again.

one other thing that might help is if you actually import the data, instead of relying on the internet to TELL you what the data is, here's a link of how to do this.
