Does anyone know of a custom mt4 bollinger bands indicator where you can adjust the deviation to a decimal point ?? In other words the current mt4 BB can only be changed from 1 to 2 or to 3, you cant input 1.5 or 2.2 and so on??
HI New Digital i found this Bollinger Bands with Alert but i've tried and there isn't sound Alert in each TF.
MAybe there isn't something that missing on the set up or maybe something that need to be modify or to be alter.
If you can try and after if you can let me know.

Standard Deviation is a statistical measure
of volatility. Standard Deviation is typically
used as a component of other indicators,
rather than as a stand-alone indicator.
For example, Bollinger Bands are calculated
by adding a security's Standard Deviation
to a moving average.
High Standard Deviation values occur
when the data item being analyzed (e.g., prices or an indicator) is changing dramatically.
Similarly, low Standard Deviation values
occur when prices are stable.
Many analysts feel that major
tops are accompanied with high volatility
as investors struggle with both euphoria
and fear. Major bottoms are expected
to be calmer as investors have
few expectations of profits.
Greetings from India. I am new to MT. Matter of fact I only downloaded it yesterday. I have been trading forex for some time now, and usually trade based on a manual system based on oversold/overbought. I use a basic stochastic, and the Williams Percent Range.
Recently I came across an EA (I had no idea what EA was) that was very kindly posted on this website by an individual named SFindlay, which does something similar to what I do. He/she was kind enough to post his/her work (EA and .set file) for everyone to use.
Thus, I downloaded MT4 and opened an account with FxPro. I use FXCM without MT4 for my regular trades. Anyway, after some struggling, I was able to load the EA and the .set file. I linked it to the chart (with default stochastic and default RSI and default WPR). Also, I used the exact .set file as was given. I did change the lot size to 1 lot, since I trade $100,000 size, in both the EA code as well as the Input window -
The problem is, I get NO trades even after Live Trading is activated.
If possible, could someone please take a look at the .set file, and the EA and please walk me through it - I have no idea what I am doing wrong and my knowledge of MT is so limited that I do not know how/where to begin.
Thanks for your help in advance, and thanks Sfindlay - I hope this EA is still working out for you.
..Details of the EA and .Set File are at this page
