in mt4 Navigator Custom Indicators folder indicator "Bands" - is a Bollinger Bands with separate Upper, Lower and Middle Band lines settings and Deviation which can be set as decimal number (as 0.5, 1.62 ...not only 1,2,3... as Bollinger Bands from Standard Indicators folder
Hi to all. I want to use Bband Stop indicator with input parameters length 14 and deviation %1.94 (decimal instead of integer ie 1,2 etc). I modified the input from int to double yet the calculation is obviusly wrong on deviation i.e. still calculates %1 instead of 1.94%. How can I fix it?

Hi all,
I read a few months ago in TASC (January 2009 I figure) about an article applying 'hysteresis' to an MA cross.
The basic premise of the method was to instead of rely on simply an MA Cross system. To replace the longer period MA with bands (either Bollinger or Keltner) to use this as a sort of a filter. Openin a position when the upper bands were pierced by the MA and then closing when the MA crossed the center line again.
Does anybody have more info on the article? the mag is off shelves now and I didn't get a chance to explore the articles more.
Has anybody had experience with something like this?
