I bought an EA online that came as a RAR file. When I try to extract it to my metatrader 4 EA folder it won't load. Is there as setting I need to change to allow this type of file. When I tried to cut and paste it wouldn't accept an exe file. The same thing happened with an indicator. OS is XP. Help?
Is this a version of the zip file with a .rar ending?? If so, you will need a winzip.rar version to unzip it. Just guessing right now about your problem.

if its an exe file then you need to double click on it and it will install the files , during the installation you might be asked for the MT4 path
