Your mind SL... only immediately manual or any expert with hidden SL/TP for manage trade? I use Swiss Army EA for this.

frantacech..i think i'm using the same method as Simba i only put stop loss if i'm leaving or sleeping and i put it far awayjust like a safe net not realy to get me out but just in case but i do reverse if its clear to me that i was wrong and all of that is manualy cuz i don't realy believe in EAs

Yes, I understand. Thanks for reply. EA for manage trade with hide SL or/and TP working nice, but if connection down or big quick move, then disaster.

I am IT man, therefore me EAs so much never mind, but comprehend your reasons.

well first of all i'm not in for few pips, so i stay in the trade from hours to days some times weeks if i catch a big move and i know that after i'm already in, second all i need to do is to look every 4H thats not much to do and when i see that there is a big chance that no signal will show for at least few bars i go to sleep or do what ever, thats not much work to do, third EAs don't have brains they don't know that there is news coming out in few minutes and they shouldn't be trading(I do),4th i do my analysis on a MT4 platform and put my trades on another none MT4 broker and some of them on the futures market cuz most of the MT4 brokeres are trying to screw you and you will not even see it coming, 5th make a survey and see how many of the great traders(who really make money) are trading by EAs,6th like i said i had that debate with some people wich is if the broker saw that you're making money with your EA he will try to hunt it down and do what ever it takes to fail it by any legal or illegal way, they are the house the casino how many times did you hear about some one beating the casino and if he did it once will they allow him to walk in every single day to do it again..no way jose, thats why i'm doing what i'm doing cuz its an unregulated market so if you wanna beat them on there game you have to be smarter and thats why i'm trying to get out of it as possible to the futures market..now there are the real players but the problem is that you can't trade crosses like GBP/JPY and its one of my main pairs cuz the market there isn't liquid enough, is that enough

Yes, all right. But I spoke just about EA that the will watch SL and do partial profit. In the same way like the ones by hand. Quaere, whether is better SL or believe EA that it will prove manage and have hidden SL?

Nice trade. With the positive swap, and the current price area you could probably sit on this one for a couple of years. I noticed that it may test the 1.0540 area again prior to going North, would you be able to absorb that fluctuation (180 pips)... if it plays out as such?

Yes,I would be able to,though it will depend on the texture of the move,if there is a fast,accompanied by volume,downmove to 1.0600 area I will probably close at a loss and reevaluate..if it looks as a fake move with a rebound on lower support I will probably add to the position..

In addition,if it doesn`t start moving in my favour within this week,I will probably close it too,there are other potential trades in the making

COMMENTS:1-Seems that Mr Marketz was right on target,the USDCAD retraced to the 1.0500 area,then spiked up to its actual level with a fast rejection of lows..having a 1.5mm usd position on a 200k usd equity,7.5 to 1 leverage ,has helped our staying power a lot
2-We are not counting the positive carry(less than half a pip per day),nor the fact that actual entry was done at a better price @ 1.0706,that is due to the fact that when I posted the entry price had already moved..will try to post faster next time
