Yes, I think it's a good ea in long term.

If you want to take profit soon ... I think this strategy will kill you.

Any way, seems very good ea.

It is H4.
It is good EA but may be some mistake in the code?
It is trading all the time.

I post a request for EA to be evaluated.

Anyway I am continuing testing.

Seems nobody is testing KSRobot? I am testing during the 3rd day already for eur m15 and jpy m15.
Please find this EA for eur m15 (KSRobot_1_5_eur_m15.mq4) and an other one for jpy m15 (KSRobot_1_5_jpy_m15.mq4). I am testing with default settings just changed lot size from 0.1 to 0.2:
http://www.forex-tsd.com/showpost.ph...0&postcount=21

.................................................. ....................................

Now about Ichimoku5 EA.
I found the reason why I got very strange results with this EA on h1 timeframe (two orders was opened and closed within 1 minutes). And it was not backtesting. It was live testing on demo (forward test).
Thus I changed something in the code and we may select timeframe, working hours and Ichimoku setting (Tenkan_sen, Kijun_sen and Senkou_Span_B).
This Ichimoku should be very profitable with the setting I did:
- usdjpy H4 (PeriodTrading = 240);
- FromHourTrade 8; ToHourTrade 19; (or any);
- Tenkan_sen 12; Kijun_sen 24; Senkou_Span_B 120.
Please find pre-set file and updated variation of this EA:

hi newdigital, i have been testing Ichimoku5 in gpbusd and eurusd in 4h charts (i think this expert is intended for this timeframe), since a week now with a 85 pips gain. I have been testing KSRobot1.5 for eurusd in 15m timeframe with no good results since 2 days ago

Regards

In Ichimoku5,do you use the default "UseHourTrade=true" (8am-19pm)or do you set it to "false" and let the EA trade 24/24?

Did you change any settings or use the preset file that was posted?

Thanks

Sada

Yes, Ichimoku5 is designed for H4.

Try this Ichimoku for jpy h4 http://www.forex-tsd.com/showpost.p...10&postcount=14
I modified some settings for jpy.
This EA is trading all the time. EA is producing the losses but totally it is profitable.

And try this KS designed for jpy m15 and eur m15 http://www.forex-tsd.com/showpost.p...50&postcount=21
I modified some Ichimoku and Ema settings.
But this KS is not trading often: last time this EA traded on 27th of October only and no trades up to now. KS may increase deposit in two times for 6 or 8 month using 0.1 lot size with almost no losses.

@sadaloma
there are two versions: Ichimoku5 and Ichimoku5_1 which is a modified version by newdigital which let you adjust ichimoku settings and trade hours, since im trading in 4hr charts, i have been using Ichimoku5 (the original version), which as newdigital have said, trade all the day.

@newdigital
I have backtested KSRobot_1_5_eurm15 with 90% modelling quality and its last trade was on November 15th, and since Oct 13th to date (where is i have 1m data for more accurate backtesting) has lost 80 pips
If you have different backtesting please inform me, maybe im doing something wrong

Regards

Please find my statement for KSRobot_1_5_eurm15 from 6th of October till 17th of November (I have 1m data from 10.06). The last trade was 25th of October only. And in profit.

And you probably backtested this KS EA with different timeframe or with different settings. I think you used H1 or H4 timeframe. But I modified this KS for 15m only, and there are different variations of this EA for two pairs (eur and jpy). M15 only.
