So I decided to be no longer part of this forum. It’s simply too much for one person. I will go back to my PC and try to find again the pleasure I had before in making Expert Advisors. Just me, my PC and MT4, which will be more than enough for the moment. I have no idea what my plans will be for the future. One thing is certain; I will continue the work on my EA’s. Transforming my crazy ideas about how to conquer Forex into Expert Advisors.

You’re all free to do with Phoenix whatever you like. But please be gentle to my baby. It’s an EA with a “soul” so don’t try to change the code too much, because if you do so, the “soul” will leave Phoenix and, believe me, Phoenix will end as so many EA’s before: on the scrapheap. She doesn’t deserve that!

I will always be available for advice if you want. The best solution for now I think is to point out someone in the forum that’s capable to coordinate the further development of Phoenix.

I wish you all the best !!
You said you were just kidding when you said you do not want to support Phoenix anymore. Well it is actually the truth inside you. I am feel much like uncomfortable with all of these. I am also spending much time to back test phoenix, to find best setting, to forward test it, to do programming additional opposite direction for Hendrick. More sleepless night. To support Hendrick so he didn't think that he is alone. He even hasn't looked at my email yet.

We are just like sheep without shepherd.

Hendrick, I realize that what you have been doing is more than enough. We must respect on your decision. You have family, health and regular work to be taken care of. I agree with you. If I were in your shoes, I would do the same. And I'll go live with phoenix and earn money. Making my spent time is worth for family and health.

Hendrick, wish you all the best!

From the beginning, I know this is going to happen, so let's face it.

Phoenix is working just nice currently. But it may not be working in the future. When there is a consecutive losses, then it is time to change Phoenix settings. Who is going to do that? Who will alert you when the market is changing?

Let's keep Phoenix code as the way it is. Continue the forward test and learn how to do the setting.

I'm working on something else tonight, but tomorrow I will try to work on good settings for GBPJPY currency. If I can come up with decent settings, then we will have learned the process for doing the necessary tweaking and changes necessary in a few weeks or months.

Does anyone else want to claim another currency pair? Or should we work in pairs trying to come up with similar results?

Fikko/Daraknor,

I respect you very much for all your knowledge, and I am willing to help.
If you like, please, tell me your settings, and I am willing to do forward testing every week. I have a laptop, dual core, and I am ready to continue working on this.
I can also provide some programming ideas, since that's what I do for a living. Please, let me know, so we can work together on this!
Thanks

The CockeyedCowboy

I have few defensive notes here,
There is a thousands of people who can write the code and onother thousands who can analyze it.

This is my assumption that they usually they 'how to do 'trigger' for example.

So just simpliest idea of writing your your own 'now how' EA in xx.mq4 then publishing it for everybody to see and learn and wining championship with it is not appealing to you....
There are plenty of room to start new thread....
We just going to watch you.....

thank you for your insides ....and I am now in waiting mode

Optimization Phoenix

Hi Fikko!
Have been working on a "How to optimize Phoenix" for the past few days so in the future everyone can do their own tests.
Just waiting for 'the master' to have a look at it and to give his view/green light to post it. Out of respect for his work and since I value his opinion very much I will not do this before he had a chance to do so.
Knowing how busy he is and in the light to all that just happened, I suspect this could take a while so all please be patient.

Cheers,

Vince

Mode 3 superstar

Hi friends,

just a note to update you about my demos on mode 1, 2 and 3.

In the last 2 days forex was terrible: mode 1 and 2 made some loosing trades but, it's incredible, my demo on mode 3 made ONLY winning trades!
I do not know why but it is the truth.

I will wait the end of the week to post statemens.

Bye!

Raf

I trust you : happend same thing to me last two days !
As Hendrick advice Sunday NOT to use Mode 3 I switched to Mode 2...
RED ! RED ! RED ! Half of profit last week !!!!
Totally hell !! 90% of the trade =losses !!!! Few things in green... AAAARRRRGGGGG !!!!! What's hell !!!!!
Yesterday night (GMT-4) absolutly pisssssssssed of I switched to mode 3 (old version)...

In one night (yes one night) I nearly recover all my losses (3975 US$ / 4010US$) And some positive trades are still on the fire...

Euuuuhhhhhh... I prefer mode 3.... even I have to watch carefully and close manually Third trade if cur is stalling...
