Well at least you know now if Vista 64bit goes pear shape on you, then you can always wipe it and install Windows 7 64bit OS knowing that is runs MT4 smoothly on multi core processor machines including laptops.

I bought Dell PCs with Vista OS on them and the first thing I did was wipe them and put Windows 7 64bit OS. They run fast and quiet without any problems.

Windows 7 is still in beta stage but it puts all its predecessors to shame, Microsoft is on a winner when they release the retail version hopefully at the end of the year.

MT4 in Windows 7

I jumped from XP to Windows 7 without going through Vista.
Metatrader seems very stable with Windows 7 (beta version).
I noticed a couple of things that don't work.
1) When running the pointer over a bar, the date open high low close used to appear in the status bar. It doesn't seem to work now. Is that the same under Vista ? Any way to fix this ?
2) I had a script that would export datas to a file. I would then convert it into metastock datas. The export does not work anymore. Any idea ?

Thanks.
