Q on time in Calendar

Hi!

I have a question on time and date information in
Forex-Tsd Calendar :: Calendar

1. Is the date and time for USD EST ?
Feb 28 03:00:00 PM USD Fed Chairman Bernanke Speaks

2. after logging in, my local time is GMT+9. Calendar displays:
Feb 28 11:15:00 PM EUR ECB President Trichet Speaks

If it is EST, it is GMT-5 and there is 14 hour difference between EST and my local.
So it should be
Feb 29 5:00 in my local time.

Does Calendar support GMT+9 ?

3. Regarding EUR, are the time and date information is GMT or EST ?

pjo

Time and Date in ForexTSDCalendar Indy

Hi!
It looks like Forex TSD Calendar v1.5 is not showing corrct time in the chart.

Feb 28 12:00:00 AM USD Fed Chairman Bernanke Speaks

this is taken from
Forex-Tsd Calendar :: Calendar

The screen is attached.
This news is displayed as
Feb 28 16:00

The server time is GMT+1.

The news is in EST which is GMT-5, I assume.

So this should be 18:00 on Feb 28 if this info is taken from the Calendar web page.

Am I correct ?

pjo

Time is in GMT.
Bernanke was in 15:00 GMT.
If your broker is on GMT+1 so it is 16 on your broker time.
Indicator is displaying the news time according to the broker's time automatically.
But if you want to set timezone in the calendar so you can go to options here Forex-Tsd Calendar :: Calendars
But anyway, indicator will display the real time for the broker's chart.

For example 54 minutes ago we had GBP Nationwide House Prices. It was at 7 am GMT or in 2 am EST.
If you broker is on GMT+1 so it was at 8 am according to your broker's chart time.

House Prices - Latest Review

Look at here:

So, if yur broker is at GMT+1 so you will see 8 am at the chart and it will be the real time (live, let's say).

This does not explain why
Forex-Tsd Calendar :: Calendar
shows
Feb 28 12:00:00 AM USD Fed Chairman Bernanke Speaks
when logged in which is GMT+9.
This should be Feb 29 04:00 AM,
not Feb 28 12:00 AM.

If not logged in, it displays correct EST time and date.

JPY related events are correct GMT+9.

Also Broker time is GMT+1 so it must be 21:00, not 16:00 as shown in the screen.
This is repeated statement.

Bernanke was at 15 GMT. It is 16 in your chart.
EST = GMT - 5.
Go to options in the calendar and correct your timezone.

It is right time on your chart (16).

The timezone of the calendar has been set GMT+9 from the beginning as I described in my first post.

I do not understand why you assume that the timezone is set incorrectly. The screen is the result from setting as GMT+9 as I described already before.
