Thx
Not sure what "software" you are referring to but "USD - Fed Chairman Bernanke Speaks" also is listed at the same time, with the same 'impact', and 'NewsTrader v5.3' grabs the first item it finds with the correct time and runs with this...

Thanks, you are correct we also had Bernanke speaking at the same time, so am to understand that if we have 2 or more news release with the same "impact" at the same time only the one listed first will show up in the Calendar and the others will not show?

Thx

Yes. To emphasise the 'problem', if you have a MinRating setting of 1 set, and a Low Impact news item of the correct time is first found, this will be displayed, irrespective of what other news items at the same time exist, even if they have the same or higher 'impact' rating. Not a bug, just the way it is coded. Also, this only applies to what is displayed - all orders for the selected currency will still be opened correctly...

hi Omelette

I am new to this Calendar, but I would think that this issue would have been address ,so that all news events with your rating setting would be visible , .I just do not see why this was codeed this way, maybe New Digital can have this option included , love the way the Calendar displays but it would be a good idea to have it show all news events with that same time frame with the ratings we pick show up. Can any coded out there add this option please?

Thx

News EA

Hi,

I discovered a new technique. And I would like to know if someone could get a EA. It is an EA that would not be a complicated. Would be quite simple and not require any indicator. Just something configuration. If someone could make me this EA takes me know.

Question http://calendar.forex-tsd.com/gmt.php

Hello there,

I've been working with a very interesting EA called "Lucky". However I see that it's internally referring to a link belonging to this site, called http://calendar.forex-tsd.com/gmt.php.

I want to make the EA independent from any outside source (so that if God forbid' there's a problem with this site or is unreachable for some reason from my hosting provider, the EA is not affected), so I would like to put this code onto one of my Linux servers and make it available trough VPN to the EA's host OS which is running inside VMWare on a different CentOS box.

My question is: what does this gmt.php do exactly? Can you please post a source code maybe so that I can duplicate it?

If you can't post source, can you perhaps tell me what to re-implement the same functionality on my own (I know PHP)?

Thanks a lot!
