if you can make a downloader for COT data --> *.csv
we can use the Commitments of Traders-02.mq4 indicator.

it's good to make an indicator to read the csv file and plot the news on chart even for past, newsreader alerts the future news only.

I think it's very useful for backtesting.

I'll try to modify it ,

Lightbulb NewsGenrator v2
I'm working now in a new version of the NewsGenrator that connects directly to FF and download the last week calendar! You can run it every week and stay up-to-date with the FF news!

If you are working on the news related tools, you may want to check out this Derk Wehler's 'package' (see attached zip) - there is a lot in it, more that I can understand. He said, that this should help many EA to start trading more profitable, since you can using his tools, avoid trading during news time - among other things. I hope that his generosity can be of any help to you.

I've also added his two MSGs with explanation, this should help.

In the meantime FF changed their Web format. But no problem, there is no interest any way...
