:: Hi! How do you see your speed? With a car it's "km or miles per hour"... how do you see it with this? Per 10 seconds?
thanks,
IN10TION
Choose a unit of measure (seconds, minutes ...) which allows us to give a realistic value is not easy, perhaps for a scalper "10 seconds" would be a good unit of measure ... I am a hedger and I mainly work on time frame H1 and H4, the speed is a very important factor when you take a position and when you exit the trade, knowing the speed at which the price comes to my point of entry / exit gives to me the possibility to delay the entry / exit in case of a very fast moving ...
This is the main reason why until now I did not manage to find an efficient solution even if I tried and tried many solutions!
you're spending your time to help me and I am very grateful to you ...
thanks,
M.M.
:: Hi Kris! I will make a field/input where you can adjust the choice of pairs... but to make the layout smaller will take me allot of time to adjust... or I make a mini version... will think about that again... I make the list open first to adjust the currency pairs...
Thanks,
IN10TION

:: there has to be a fixed interval of 5 or 10 sec to give a growing process or a shift the x minutes... still thinking about the total process ... will take some time ... first the IN10TION ChartAttack (I think) ... just making the right choice, don't want to have big issues with crashing platforms

I would like to test your IN10TION ChartAttack, you can attach it ... I attached the indicator that currently use, this indicator is not bad but takes a lot of CPU and is not very accurate (in fact when we compare the indicator with the volume we notice some discrepancies ...)!!!

Grrrreat! Limiting the number of pairs will be awesome.
The mini version is a secondary requirement. I think that I will just create a template with invisible price line/bars so that I can see the entire dashboard in a correctly resized window. Then I will just move it if necessary.
I appreciate how much research and development have gone into your dashboard/indicator and I would prefer not to lose functionality.
Cheers, Kris

IN10TION HI, I enclosed a picture of the meter tiksperminute and a second meter ...
I was saying the first creates considerable problems of overloading the cpu and need to continually restart because of continuous crashes, also is not very precise and does not offer an average reference (for example, the average of 15 candles ticks above) it gives only 10 candles worth of ticks ...
The second counter is very accurate but unfortunately it is TF dependent and also does not offer us an average reference ...
Unfortunately I was unable to find the source codes of the two indicators ...
these are the only instruments close to the concept of speed detector, then we go to the concepts of range and volatility, more or less we are talking about the same thing but the results are very different (think !!!)...
please forgive me if I give you discomfort, good day ...
:: Thanks! Going to look into it... but whatever it is, it can't be time based, a tick per tick system doesn't care about "per minute" or "per time frame" ... it just waits for the next tick, that perhaps it loops to hard to get it ... not logic

You're right but I with the words "based on TF" I mean that the indicator is related to FXGuru TF that we use to display (for example, attacked on a graph with candles for one hour the indicator counts ticks for one hour)... sure the system is always tick for tick but to use it as a speed detector would be better to attack it on a chart with candles for 1 minute, but without necessarily having to open a different chart from the one on which we are working, on the contrary the tikcsperminute allows us to choose the TF whatever is the graph on which we are working!!!
regards.
:: You can retrieve the volume of the 1 minute in an easy way, the volume in MetaTrader is only a tick count per frame... iVolume, with this it is possible to see the per 1 minute ticks (volume) in another time frame. Would it not be easier for you to display something like that?
