I know you have done a good job and god only knows the amount of time you have sent on this indy, But the problem has to be some thing about Vista. As you know I too have had problems with my computers crashing when High Impact news is release, you have my PM , I have a Falcon, Dell and HP all crashed. So today I went to CompUSA a large computer store acted like a buyer and went ahead and after the store manager granted me access to the net download the news reader to a HP a Toshiba which where on display waited for the US CPI and yet again both crashed again . They both had Vista and the standard out of the box stripped software.
So I this point I have run out of ideas on what is causing this since even on computers at the store I get the same problems.
Thanks

Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Problem Reports and Solutions > Change settings > Advanced settings
switch off everything you can switch off
[nothing bad will happen if you do this, more healthy for your computer, trust me!]
The crashing & freezing is not related to IN10TION NewsReader... not a programming issue... I really tried everything, but really everything! but for some "handful users" it does trigger something in windows that makes it going crazy & probably you guys have something in common on your computer that I don't know about, is it about your broker... please try another broker, is it a firewall that doesn't allow or can't process a quick dll call, is it another application that restrict access, Trojan horse, virus (don't think you have a application to protect you that you are secure)... I can't say... I didn't have one crash even by over stressing my computer at major news. Give it a try on another computer that is not yours (by avoiding your settings).
I really have taken every direction in IN10TION NewsReader to make it crash with a purpose to find a solution for you guys, but there is none. So we have to look outside this application to make it work.

I have downloaded all the versions and all of them have crashed at all the news updates. I did a search on how to turn off "werfault.exe" for XP. When turned off (werfault.exe) and with 3 different versions of Metatrader going (with multiple charts running) and with a high impact update (NZD) everything worked fine.
For me when i have the news script, even changing Time frames takes time... Even more during high volatility.... without it, its smooth on timeframes change and doesnt freeze...
I guess is because the script adds like 500lines "not sure didnt count , but allot" to the template of each chart...
Im hopping In10tion can make a lighter script, or making a script into several separated sub/scripts and only call the sub/scripts we want to see... So we dont waste ram when we dont want to see some feature in the chart ! This is for those with no ultrasonic computers . So we can use this awesome script on all charts...
The scripts still loads ram even if we set all extra opitions including news to FALSE so only works for really not seeing it but it keeps consuming cpu
Im with you IN10TION praying for an apple to fall in your head LoL
Hi IN10TION
i have tested the new version
and it works fine
id like to thank you for this wonderfull tool
i also ike to ask you
if you thinking in your next updates
to put the trend bars as lines too
its visually better to see them as lines
thanks again for this great tool
