Thats statistics. Its evil. Don't trust it. Don't trust a single moving average as well (but you can trust their cross of different MAs!)

About brokers - yep, there are brokers without the license. There are brokers with little capital. But instead of scaring people "these brokers will be bankrupt!" you should post which brokers use MT4 platform and allow minimum deposits smaller than $10'000 and seem to be successful.

Well, the truth is that "most" traders do actually lose money, however the market is a net-sum market, so the smaller minority of winning traders are doing quite well... and as you mentioned, new traders tend to enter the market for the first time without a plan or risk management in place, so naturally they get creamed... For that reason it can be said that "most" traders lose, but as I have said before in this Forum, I know a lot of traders that are doing very well...

So for me the lesson is simple: plan a trade, then trade your plan... and stay far away from the "fly-by-night" brokers...

This has always been a good source to check out brokers: http://www.cftc.gov/files/tm/fcm/tmfcmdata0703.pdf

Hope that helps...

Yea, FXCM actually operates under the name "Forex Capital Markets". The FXCM LLC is just a shell... Personally I wouldn't use them, but they have plenty of cash on hand...

Hey Guys, maybe I was not so clear in my post which was triggered by the first one.

Iīm sorry if something was wrong butt off course by reading the link posted would you knew about what Iīm talking about.

I did not included the header to discover, my mistake

What I want to say is: There is no difference in follow the crowd an being a unsuccessful trader or follow the crow by posting every piece of sh... without check lie or truth.

Thatīs is what we suffered last days here and in other places.
Lot of "traders", if we could call them as it, posting about this problem of brokers. Why?, pls only one why?.

And then you read some post about "Iīm losing money because my broker ..", "because indicators lag and ...", "because my system is not good...", "this indicator repaints?", "because price falls and my friend tell me buy"...

Another interesting point to think is comes form some groups where posting like the first one here was made some days ago and many of the most active traders (and some of the older) fall in the trap.

To think could take some time, but does not hurt and itīs free. And keeps you safe.

PD: To be complete clear: Shini, my post has not any relation whit your post. Sorry for bad momet.
