Team of 4 people making an ECN bridge. We're on Currenex right now using a bad connector that we're replacing. We should have hotspotfx, currenex, and maybe lavafx or fxall to start off with. Hopefully we'll be a white label within 1-3 months in exchange for doing a good job on the connector.

Python based trading on the ECN will also be available.

Everything is Straight Through Processing - I guarantee it since we're bypassing the dealer desk API for trading. They would need to edit the trade after it is filled and this trading group doesn't believe in a dealer desk to start with. If they did edit the trade in MT4, I'm going to make it set off an alarm with the code that tracks the trades against the ECN. (The two systems are supposed to match. If they don't, ALARM!)

I thought I was being cheered, and if I wasn't I'm just laughing now. This is going to be an awesome connector that does things I haven't seen any other connector do. MT4 only submits market trades and that usually involves a lot of slippage. Market trades for TP, SL, pending orders. Since the numbers are known ahead of time, we can do pending orders on the ECN and we will likely eliminate slippage in most situations. That's one feature out of dozens and I probably shouldn't even say that much.

In other words, because MT4 Server is somewhat dumb, Brokers get slippage and they give it to their clients. When a broker honors your SL/TP and pending orders to the pip, I give them respect because they probably didn't get that price on your order. Since this Trading Group is all about Straight Through Processing, I had a ton of slippage on my orders, including my pending order execution. I'm going to fix that There will still be slippage, but I'm only going to allow extra pips in earnings. Positive slip only allowed. To make this work, the strategy for placing orders is actually a lot more complicated than that. I'll laugh a little if another connector tries to do the same thing because it won't work. I'll be a bit sad if they hand that to clients.
