Leverage and Micro Lots

Hi ppl,

Why the mini account on fxdd is diferent from mini account of interbank fx... the calculations of leverage semms to be diferent.

Both 1:200 leverage:

-Whit 0.01 lots in interbank fx take 0.5 cents of my margin.
-Whit 0.01 lots in fxdd take $6.47 of my margin.

Someone can explain me why this happen?

Thanks

Fast_cris

becos the mini account of IBFX is smaller than the normal mini accounts.

at a normal mini account like FXDD you will see that 1,0 lot = 100 000 units
and on a IBFX mini account 1,0 lot = 10 000 units

hence the 0,01 at IBFX is like 0,001 at FXDD.

some people call the micro lots at IBFX nanolots.

You are wrigth my friend,

That's what i descovered...

Both mini account whit 1:200 leverage.

Interbank Fx = Fxdd

1.0 lots = 0.1 lots
0.1 lots = 0.01 lots
0.01 lots = ?

0.01 would be 0.001 at FXDD but they dont have 0.001. thats an advantage at IBFX. if you have an EA wich is very risky you can test it with 0.01 and this would be only 1cent/pip

Question Leverage and Micro Lots

Hello folks,

I and many others here a really big fans from the martingale strategies...

Nearly every strategy u can make proitable with implement this style of trade... Not important if countertrend or in trend direction, a little bit tweaking and it works...

The big problem with martingale is it self, it double the losizes every order regrading the pipstep u choose...

So we need a broker who offers a high leverage (1:200 up) and very small beginning lotsizes, like IBFX, 0.01 minilot on their miniaccount (0.01 minilot = 100 units)

So if y know brokers who also offers a high leverage with small starting lotsizes please post it here...

Thanks for your help !
