I am using this broker sometimes for testing. I did not analyze heir datafeed especially but it may be similar with North finance, And during the new time it is similar with IBFX. So, I found this data feed as mix one.
But sorry I did not analize it especially. I simple attached EAs to IBFX, North Finance and LiteForex Metatrader 9M1 timeframe) for several days to understand those differencies. |

Thanks a lot! edit: It surely seems that this EA is curve fitted to work on indicative data. Unbelievable but true, by altering the algorithm to take this into consideration I just raised the profits in backtesting by a big amount. Now this is totally out of this thread but are there any bigger brokers that offer indicative data as their main feed .. I would really like to try this with real money as soon as possibleedit 2: I retested this with historical database from alpari (the previous historical database seems to be from the history database which seems to be kind of crap) and it seems the results are the same so thanks for all the advice but this seems to be working fine with other data as well (as it should). cheers! I don't see this "slow".
I am using this broker sometimes to test something with real but small money. This broker is having account in cents. It's the same as 0.001 lot size. To test something with IBFX need to deposit 500 dollars for exmaple to test by 0.01 lot size. To test something with LiteForex I need to deposit just 50 dollars and it will be the same one. Of course there are brokers for big money, there are brokers for small money ... But as I know many people are using this broker with small money just to test some EAs live. And many coders are using this broker just to test something live before publish on the forum. And it is not slow. There are different problems with this broker: some gaps in data for M1 or M5 timeframes sometimes. It was some half a day missed sometimes few months ago on any timeframes. But what can we expect for 50 dollars deposit? But not "slow", sorry. And not spiky. |
