i need a broker that will let me have a standard account and let me trade under one full lot i.e.. .1 or .5 lots on my standard account as well as use mt4 as my platform, I've looked at so many brokers but most of them don't have this information. does anyone know of any please.

if you must know the reason i would like to trade sometimes $ or $5 or $8 instead of the full $10= 1lot at times..
any help would be a great help

but if you mean broker with 1K & 100K i have no idea, and i think you won't find

what i'm looking for is to be able to trade .4 lots so that it equals $4... not .4 mini that equals .40 cents.

I think you are confusing mini accounts with Interbankfx with other mini accounts.

For example, with an interbankfx mini account where you would have a "m" in the quotes, like eurusdm, .4 lots would equal .40 cents.

However, with a mini account, from say FXDD or North Finance, .4 lots would equal $4 per pip.

isn't a mini account a 10k account?... is that not .4=$0.40 instaed of .4=$4.00

i.e instead of your deposit being $5000 for a 100k standered account where 1pip= $10 with one lot and $5.00 with half a lot (.5). it would be $500 for the mini where 1 pip=$1

i need a standard 100k account that will let me trade .1-9 lot as well as one full lot (1.0)...

There are three types of accounts

Standard = 100K
Mini = 10K
Micro = 1K

When you contact a broker you first ask for Standard account
like MIG when you get standard account they provide 1 lot (100K)
and 0.1 lot (10K)
