1 pip and MT4 platform seem to be quite attractive, but what about other details?

The 1 pip claim is a hook.

Why is it a hook?

i'm thinking about opening real account with them. one pip spread on majors sounds quite attractive. is anyone using them?

If it sounds too good to be true, then you know it is. Especially in forex.

Does anyone has conversation with the CS or went to that office ?

I use crown for more than 2 months.

I am very happy with crown but you should use your crown account carefully always considering its pros and cons..

pros:
- 1 pip spread. great excellent awesome. what can you say?
- execution is perfect under normal market conditions. you can buy/sell the price you saw.
- stops and limits are honored no matter of what...

cons:
- you get requoted in fast market conditions. (not the news, I don't even try to attempt trading in news time) it can cost you more than 3-4 pips to get into a position. but since you'll pay that cost if you'd traded for another broker, it does not bother you. Solution is simple, open an other account with another firm (I use MBT in this cases) and if the pair is moving fast and you want to get in to the action, use that broker which allows you to get in the market whatever the price is...
- At some fast market conditions, you are allowed to place your stops or limits only below or above 21 pips of the current price. (normally it is 10 pips) (sometimes it goes to 31 pips, or 41 pips.) This happens mostly in news times. Yes it is really annoying you can't even place a stop or limit order.
- the firm is not trustable very much. But I dont have any problems withdrawing money. (I withdrawed one time, but there are friends who withdraw more than once with +10k, no problem) Solution, don't place all your money here. Split it to 3-4 brokers always, because don't forget that no broker in this business even FXCM like huge guns are trustable. (don't forget refco disaster, it is believed to be the biggest one and now it is gone)

Finally, never forget: there is not a perfect broker out there which has low spread, allow scalping, allow news trading, having ultra-strong financial structure, has no slipage, doubles your account in a monts etc... all the brokers have their own unique pros and cons, so while opening an account and trading always remember this...

I have had my account with them since June and have had no major problems with them at all.

I am also an IB for Crown and have many clients that I assist with in my country, Malaysia. We have some minor problems but all has been ironed out and I have not lost any clients.


I will be visiting them on the 26/27th September 2007 and will gladly answer any questions after I meet up with them.

As for trading, they are not perfect but I like the 1 pip spread. In very volatile days... it is more difficult to get the prices we want. There will be 3-4 pip differences.

Placing of orders can be a little tricky when it is very volatile. I use market orders at times of high volatility.

How about their free swap policy? Can i hold a lot of pair with negative swap as long as possible?

there are no swaps... so this is ez.. .

if you play yr game right... there is a lot of savings.
