Types of Execution

There are three order execution modes in the client terminal:

• Instant Execution
  In this mode, the order is executed at the price offered to the broker. At sending the order to be executed, terminal sets the current prices in the order. If broker accepts the prices, the order will be executed. If not, the so-called "Requote" will occur: Broker returns prices at which the order can be executed. <--- MOST BROKERS
• Execution on Request
  In this mode, the market order is executed at the price previously received from the broker. Prices for a certain market order are requested from the broker before the order is sent. After the prices have income, order execution at the given price can be either confirmed or rejected.
• Execution by Market
  In this order execution mode, broker makes a decision about the order execution price without any additional discussion with the trader. Sending of the order in such a mode means advance consent to its execution at this price. <-------- WHC

i'm scalping here without any problem,i like the freedom to be able to place trade/order anywhere i want

in my opinion it is the best broker yet (that runs with dealing desk) - though it's still a new company just started 6 months ago should give them more time........

I have some that do and some that don't but was told they need the modification to market execution.
I don't program but was considering having some done so that's why I got the doc.

Traded with them just a few months now.
Never had a requote yet and the fills on liquid markets and within a second.
When news is hot trade the globex contracts.
The Euro, Yen and Swiss globex contracts have a commision only with no spread at all of 1.6 pips.
The pound contract is 3.2 pips.
Canadian$ and Aussy$ are just two pips each on the globex contracts.

Why on earth don't these guys have slippage control in MT4 (via the maximum devation control feature) ?!?!

That is absolutely unacceptable. Anyone trading news will get shit fills. At least give us the option to be filled within a certain pip limit !!

MT4 offers this by default, but it seems these guys turned that option off purposely to screw over news traders, hence giving them bad slippage.

Ridiculous. Which other MT4 broker has disabled this feature? None that I know of.

I am now paper trading using the WHC Trader 4. I have a live account with Thinkorswim. What I notice is that the price levels for ER Emini Russell for WHC and TOS is different, Why is this?

Maybe they're following different contracts.
WHC shows the contract at the top of the "new order" window when your starting an order.

Yeh im seeing what you mean now sometimes EA's work sometimes they don't its rather weird.Considering the EA is on my side not loaded into there server I don't see why they won't work.

That would be the lag.I use an ecn and there price seems to match up with WHC.Thinkorswim not an ecn.

Id use them tomorrow live if I trusted them with my money.

I'm very interested to know the spread between the underlying futures and their cfd futures. Obviously they quote outside the market but they surely use a forumla to determine. This will help to compare to the live market.

To me it seems roughly two points but its probably a more exact formula. Hopefully the WHC guys can shed some light on this discrepancy.
