Hi, i'm looking for a good broker ideal for scalping, with spread of 1pip on eur-usd, do you know someone good?
(for scalping i mean just trades with a tp of 7-10 pips, not less)

Mbtrading is good, but i think they don't offer metatrading4 as trading platform.

Mate, obviously, we're having problem with MT4 if we deal with scalping. I did not get any good broker with MT4 so far. Therefor, I've already started my transformation from MQL4 to VB Net. Currently only 1 project success, and running API with OANDA. MT4 is the best strategy builder, and also the best FREE tester so far for me. But deffinitely not the best auto live trading platform.

I don't know a lot of things regarding API, anyway, do you think that is it possible to use some software to leave it opened with metatrading and the ecn platform, and having so the possibility to use an EA with an ECN like hotspotfx ?

"Mt4 with an EA running" ----> transformation software --------> ECN platform ------> internet (multibanking)

So, the mt4 is connected at 127.0.0.1 instead of the broker server, and it "talk" only with the software in our computer that simulate a virtual broker, and he (the software) do pratically the job of a market maker, a private market maker :P communicating with the mt4 platform, and with the ECN account.

What do you think about?

I am unaware of a MT broker being an ECN.

I personally haven't had a problem with FXCH, Oanda, InterbankFX for scalping and they all do mini lots. Interbank is an MT4 and FXCH is supposed to be an ECN, however i think it is partly a MM on some pairs due to the small spreads.

My friend is an IB for InterbankFX, and he said that they don't allow scalping

That could be, but in the 2 years i have been with them, they haven't given me any problems and some of my trades have been either small pips-wise, or open only for a few seconds.

It probably is based on your overall usage. A workaround for that is to run longer-term trades as well, like phoenix or something that hold trades for 6-72 hours.
