WOW nice statement. What EA do you use?
Is this live trading?
Unfortunately, the EA is written only in Metatrader 3 and only the compiled version. If anyone knows how to decompile a compiled Metatrader 3 EA, I am sure we can quickly get it converted over to Metatrader 4 and add features that would even make it more profitable.
Anybody here can get the source code to a compiled Metatrader 3 EA?
holyguy7, I think that this EA is potentially what every trader is looking for and therefore your question is important enough to warrant a seperate thread. I don't think this original thread posted by Gus will get the attention it deserves, if you want the question answered might I suggest you start a new thread. Hopefully Igorad or Codersguru will see it and respond. Thanks

Unfortunately, this EA is a commercial EA that I purchased. I see no problem with me using it myself and getting it converted to Metatrader 4 but ethically and legally it would be wrong for me to post the EA on the board for free.
Since I purchased the EA, I am entitled to all future releases and upgrades because of that, I see no problem trying to get the EA converted to Metatrader 4 so that I can use it on that platform
Holyguy7: First of all, are the statements you provided us here on a real live account, or just on a demo. Because of the scalping issue, there will be many problems with most brokers about them letting you trade it.
But there may be a few brokers who might not even notice. Its actually not so much the broker themselves, but the bankers they deal with that would pull the plug, and say no way to the scalping system. This will be especially true when you start getting into the big money trades, like 50-100 full lots.
I wouldnt even worry about converting this EA to MT4, why bother, its working perfectly fine on MT3, and how could you make it any better.
The biggest obstacle I can see is getting it by the brokers, they are the only stumbling block here.

Thank you for your understanding.
Can you tell what's the name of the EA and where it can be purchased? Your demo account is very impressive . I am still learning MQL, so until I am able to write my own program I am trading manually, and at FXDD I have a problem. If the price moves fast, all you get is an answer "the price has moved", and so on and so on, sometimes 2-3 times, so manually it is impossible there to make a good short time trades. Good luck. You are correct about what you say. I believe with this EA, there would be no need to trade more that say 10 stardard lots at a time. This EA generates conservatively 300 pips a day, at 10 lots a trade that would allow one to earn $30,000 a day. Why be greedy when that is almost as much as most make it a year.
The EA has some drawdowns as it does not do well during news times like most EAs don't.
There are a few improvements that could be made with this EA as with any EA and I have a few the come to mind right now. However, the EA I have has a timelimit on it of only 30 days.
You are correct. Some brokers do not allow scalping like this, but I checked and FXDD does allow scalping.
Well, I think I am just going to watch and test this EA for a good couple months before putting any real money into it.
Integrity is a necessity in life so I understand completely. cheers
