i dont know..what i must say about ibfx
today is alot.of trouble
....from..invalid acc till no conection

jus dont know what i must say..
this morning
once the login succes..
but i cant open position
look at athe attchement ..!!

the (kb) at thre rigth bottom of meta is show kb...but when i open position it say invalid acc

i have restart meta ....even my computer as well
also
like the CS said
go to run -cmd-ipconfig/flushdns
still..
the problem appear again in the common hour

but i think still want to move my acc..

Since Ive been moved onto the new server my EAs dont trigger, Im using makegrid193 which I use on multiple pairs (also use same on Alpari, FXDD & Activtrades & have so far made 10K profit in 3 months). Nothing has changed with my EA, only the server, anyone else having this problem???? I have my smallest investment with IBFX & most of my cash with the other brokers.

I think they currently have a problem...

This is an update to the previously issued service advisory regarding the problems currently being experienced by some IBFX subscribers.

IBFX recently setup a new live trading server and required some subscribers to switch their MT4 to the new server over this past weekend. Although most subscribers are now connecting to the new server, we have been alerted that the new server is missing the 1HR history data. We have been informed that IBFX does not anticipate a restoration of the 1HR history data until the WEEKEND.

Many expert advisors use the 1HR chart and are dependant on this same history data. If your EA is on the 1HR chart then please use extreme caution – your EA may not be operating correctly due to lack of data.

There is a significant risk of financial loss when your EA is not receiving data. Please use extreme caution and watch your positions until the problem is resolved. You should close out of any position you are not comfortable leaving unmanaged."

I've been running an ea on my live account and now even when I shut it off and close down the platform I've found live trades put in on my account based on the parameters of the EA.

This is so bizzare that I'm not sure what to do, I've asked interbank fx to suspend my account.

has anyone had this problem?

Think of it this way by example . . You had a power outage and your platform is shutdown for 3 hours - Your active placed trades will continue until you either somehow close them down through the platform or call the brokerage and tell them to close out the trades. This is the way of electronic trading.

This is why you use a hard stoploss or create a trailing stop manually through the platform just in case the power goes down, then it will either automatically exit by takeprofit, or by the stoploss/trailing stop. Live trading needs additional monitoring and steps because real money is on the line. I hope you did not lose on a trade! In summation - The brokerage firm does not track whether your platform is up or not - It does react to input from the platform (your trades), and responds to manual or electronic closing of the trades.
