I have been trading with IBFX for a while now and have noticed the extreme "data smoothing". Their candles are far different than other servers giving you many false signals. If you open an account with them always check you moves on another Server/broker. Customer service is not bad. Biggest complaint is the candle difference.

I am not sure exactly but I think that it may be the different symbol names in some mini accounts in IBFX.

Its the same expert it used to work before and now stopped working for no apparent reason. it is not working on both mini and standard. this has ahppened before, and then it just resumes trading again. On FXDD it works fine.

I uninstalled Interbankfx and re-installed it again, and did not update it to Build 215, I kept Build 211, and its working just fine, but what puzzles me, is that the Build 215 on FXDD works fine.

Did you try to re-compile your ea with build 215?

I think it may be something with the version of Metatrader.
The discussion is here MetaTrader. New versions and Daily builds (it was something about 2 215 versions and about we need to re-compile the EA if EAs were compiled in old 215 or any ...). Don't remember sorry this discussion exactly as I am affraid for any new Metatrader's version.

Yes, i have the same problem, after re-compile everythink working normal again( If you compiled an Expert Advisor or a Script in build 213, MetaTrader has informed us that you will have to recompile it once you update to Build 214/215.
To recompile go to:
Tools
MetaQuotes Language Editor (F4)
Double left click your Expert Advisor or Script in the Navigator
Left click on the Compile button
Exit MetaQuotes Language Editor)

I'm closing my InterbankFX account as of TODAY.

At approximately 1:55 p.m. EST I moved my stop losses on 4 long NZD/JPY trades on my live account from 78.50 (all positions) to 78.80/81 when the market had just pierced through the 79.00 zone.

At exactly 1:59 (a few minutes later) I watched my chart plummet from just above 79.00 down to 78.79.

How obvious can we get?

I went to IBFX's online chat and spoke with Darryl, who admitted that the low bid price for that particular 1 hour bar was 78.88. (Read chat transcript, below)

I requested an explanation for why my stops were taken out, and after much waiting and "pulling charts", etc. Darryl "explained" that even though on the recorded accounting statement the trade was stopped out @ 1:59 hrs, the bars were actually "overlapping"... puh-leze!

I pulled charts from two other online charting services, neither of them showed a price anywhere near 78.79 for that hour bar.

I believe that contrary to IBFX's claims otherwise, that they do indeed have a dealing desk, and they target rare pairs to take out stoplosses...and it makes a nice excuse for them that the stops are taken out right at the last minute of the hour.

If someone can produce some evidence that NZDJPY was near that price at that time, I'll gladly recant this post, but in the transcript below you have the evidence right out of their own mouths.

Client Services: There is nothing else I can do for you
you: oh...your supervisor is a crook TOO
Client Services: I tried
you: whatever...
Client Services: Thank you
Client Services: Is there anyting else I can help you with today?
I do not believe they have a dealing desk, but they may have substituted the dealing desk with programming to take out the stop losses. This has been an ongoing topic on this forum. The only way to prevent a forced stop loss being taken out is have the EA or another EA supervise the trade and have it close out the position versus putting in a 'hard' stop loss point when the order ticket is sent at the beginning. I hate to say it, but I believe MetaTrader Platform has this software optional for the brokers to use which means IBFX may not be the only brokerage firm that uses it skim the stop loss spreads from the clients. This way they can claim they have no dealing desk since software programming is doing it for them! FXCM was zeroed in as a brokerage firm that may have had a dealing desk or software to take out stop losses also.

P.S. Have you noticed at times that the graph hesitates to update??? That is because the data is delayed at the brokerage firm so the programming can evaluate whether to nail the stop losses if there are a bunch of them set near the same stop loss point (Speculation) - If correct, it is Ching Ching! for the the brokerage firm!
