By the way, is there a place to check if a broker is regulated?
No, NF is not YET regulated. They are in process of regulation in EU. For me, as for existing client, it doesn't actually make any difference. But for potential clients - maybe, coz they want to be secured, and i respect this view. But guys if you want broker who pays, have one of the shortest spreads, good leverage, lots of things to trade(), stick with them.
It doesn't actually matter if brokers is regulated, coz the service is exactly the same! For my own interest i went to nfa web site, and i saw how many complaints there are, so what is the point of regulation. Some may say that at least the one can see the complains, but still personally i don't see any point in viewing the complaints???!!
In my situation, it just happened to me that I'm with them, and really I like them! Hope for others they will be regulated soon!
Cheers to everyone, hope this help to see regulation from other side of view!
Think about REFCO. Only the big creditors are getting any money back, the "little guys" like us got nothing back. Part of the regulation here in the US is that the company has to keep the customers' money is seperate accounts so that the customers' money is protected in the case of a bankruptcy.
First of all I know about the thread regarding MT4 brokers, been there and read it. I'm wondering something else.
I just tried to open a live account with Alpari but got refused as I have no experience with live trading, only demo.
Now before I go into the trouble of opening a live account I want to know what brokers DON'T require you to be an expert in live trading? I have about a year of experience with Forex, but DEMO accounts only. Now I want to go LIVE and Alpari doesn't want me. So what brokers accept NOVICE people?
So, I want to open a $1000 Forex account with a MT4 broker and I have 0 experience with LIVE trading. Who should I go to?
