give them a call or chat with them, they should answers your questions better than me, I don't know them well. I just opened an account 3 days ago, but I kept my accounts with IBFX.

The story about RFXT and they don't fill your order during the news is crap ( at least for today ) I have tested both IBFX and RFXT side by side and I got my orders filled with a fixed spread from RFXT better than IBFX. ( I kept screen shots )

RFXT swap is still on the high side, but apart from that, they are much better than IBFX .

I am anticipating to shift to a MT4 broker after using a non-MT4 broker for 6 months which is notorius for price lagging especially during news time. Besides price lagging also notorious for spread widening. Is there a list somewhere of these brokers that practice price lagging and spread widening somewhere???

I think there isn't any broker that guarantees you a fill with fixed spread during news time.

They want your money and if they fill you with fixed spread the right moment there is the news spike, they will lose for sure as bank feeds widen. If they keep the fixed spread, you are going to be filled with slippage.

But if anyone knows a broker that fills without slippage the right moment the news is out, just let me know.

Focus, Patience and Discipline

Not so much with the widening, but it is this lagging that really annoys me, sometimes when you like to get out of trade because of the incoming news and the price is not the real one compare to other brokers. That really makes me mad. I am not a news trader and i avoid the news as much as possible that i used to get out of the trade before the news but that is also the time when this happends. If there is a list somewhere here then i know what broker to avoid. thanks

These are some of the names I stirred up during my research. Personally, I ended up going with FastFX (http://www.fastbrokersfx.com)from some of the comments I read on another thread here. OK so far - And I actually like the fact that they are an IB - they aren't doing the clearing so if there is any shady biz at the clearing house they might actually do something about it.

Hey MiniMe and All... and thank you Diam0nd for the list... what do you think about putting this list as links on the first page of this thread...? or better yet, open a new thread with each broker as a separate sub-thread... having this, all of us here, could report on the good and the bad on brokers we try... such as MiniMe does... and our comments could be added to each broker... or, maybe we should use http://www.forexbastards.com/public/...broker_reviews ... and post our comments there...?

on the other hand... there is something at this forum called... a poll, where we could vote for top brokers... but I am not familiar with it... -just a few thoughts...

Well... e-gold is out... so, I was searching for MT4 with e-bullion, not much luck though... MIG will be introducing credit/debit card and CFDs soon... but slow execution [4-5sec]...

anyway, I found this broker... http://www.forexgen.com ... it seams they have a very good offer, but there is nothing about forexgen on the net, only tonnes of download sites... anybody has some experience with them...?

my favored broker so far is http://www.fastbrokersfx.com ... no spikes, fast execution [0.5sec], excellent spreads... they just widen a bit for a short while during big news events... if they only be ie: in Switzerland and offer e-bullion... I would not look for anybody else...
