For the last 10 days I have been looking for a good MT4 broker, the results there isn’t any !!

Currently I am with IBFX , and I got screwed big time on their wide spread rates during the news, on my search for other MT4 brokers here is what I found.

News : Broker with fixed pips (always fixed pips ) don’t fill your order on the market price they freeze the trade for a while, while Broker with variable spread ( during the news ) they will fill the orders with 3 times more than the regular spread value example today IBFX went from 3 pips on USJAP to 9 pips

Swap: Broker with fixed pips (always fixed pips) screw the trader on the swap, as we have to pay much more if we decide to stay in a trade for more than one day, while you get almost nothing in return if the swap was in your favor, on the other hand Broker with variable spread ( during the news ) offer very reasonable swap rates.

I am very tired form looking for a decent broker, all I need is :

1-Fixed pips or variable pips (during the news) doesn't matter, but not 3 times more than the regular spread during the news
2-Decent balanced swap rate
3-I don’t scalp, but I should be able to enter the trade on the market price (fast filling)
4-Some of the brokers web sites doesn't work anymore, I guess they are out of business, so I don't want a second hand broker
5- the ability to trade 0.01 lots with 1:400 leverage

I don’t want sales talk, fellow traders if you had experience with a decent broker please let me know

IBFX - i am considering them for my live account, dont mean to trade news, so would u say that they are otherwise OK (money transfers, connection stability/failings, amount of requotes off the news time...)?

So far the are the best of the worst, this weekend they are moving to bigger servers, so they are upgrading I hope service will be better .

Best things I found in IBFX is :
1- Leverage 1:400 on mini accounts
2-Micro lots 0.01
3-fast execution good during the news ( very wide spread bad )
4-Transfer funds very quickly
5- Fair spreads ratio
6-excellent customer support

The reasons I don't like IBFX is:
1-Sometimes their server freeze ( but not during the news mostly at the start of the week)
2-Wide spread during the news

I have checked most of the other brokers are they are even worse, so better the devil you know than the angel you don't know

I am checking alpari now, but I am waiting thier answers to some questions I have sent to them

just kidding.
we'd all like a broker who does everything our way. There's no perfect broker. The reason is that they too are one of the hungry animals in the forex food chain.
I trade the news from time to time, but have learned work around the widening spreads at IBFX. So far I am content with them for my live trading.

I don't mind the news, but IBFX are killing me last week they multiplied the spreads by 3 during the news.

I am keeping my account with IBFX, but I want to open a new account,

Anyone has a live account with Alpari ( UK or RU doesn't matter )? please let me know what do you think of them?

I went with RFXT.com they have unbelievable level of support, I paid online with my visa card and within 5 min the money was in my account and the account was active, I am shocked.

If they kept this level of customer service, and match it with a good MT4 support, they will rule the brokerages world.

I just had my account active; I will update later on the trading experience.

For the record I kept my IBFX accounts as well
