Mig Fx ?

Hi

I have started this thread to hear your opinions regarding this MT4 FX Broker:
http://www.migfx.ch.

I am currently using FXCM and I would like to open an account with a MT4 broker.

What is your experience with MIG? I have heard a lot of good/bad things but mostly rumours. I would like to hear the opinions of people that are actually using MIG as a broker for live accounts.

Please post and vote.

Thank you Babar. I really appreciate your feedback. Please fill the poll when you have the time. Good luck with trading!

How fast is their execution? I have heard that they give you a lot of requotes. What can you say about that? I am very interested in this because I trade during high volatility (NFP, rate statements) times and I get many requotes from FXCM.

Did you requested any withdrawals yet?

Best Regards.

Can you post the rumors you heard about them? I am about to deposit money into my account, and don't want to have issues....

Ordinary Broker

I have been with them for over a month now on a real mini - at the beginning everything was ok, then the server speed fell, requotes /not only in fast moving markets/ started to appear, they have a problem with the server stream for one major that have not fixed yet / see the pic/. But what I find really dangerous and frustrating is that they have a significant delay between the moment of order execution and its appearance on the terminal - if the price has gone against you you get filled, if the price is with you - you get requoted

I have read that many brokers re-quote when the market moves fast. From what I have read, the worse are FXCM and InterbankFX. Have you heard of any that is reliably better but have a low spread? I have also noticed that the MIGs DEMO is very slow these days unlike weeks ago....

Few days ago I had 27 successive requotes to close a 2 lots order, and all were in a range of 5 pips of a very slow market! Often TP are not honored (TP levels must be overquoted by min 2-3 pips to be triggered). In short, if you are loosing, no problems, but otherwize, good luck... The mechanism of requotes is clear : the server wait the next ticks, if they are in your advantage, you are requoted.

Thank you all for your feedback.

et_phonehome_2: The bad rumours were about requotes. I have heard that they are giving requote after requote. You mentioned FXCM.... I am currently using FXCM with my real account and I am satisfied with their service. I have never seen stop hunting. The only problem with them (except the big spreads) is that they don't allow you to set a max deviation from the quoted price as MT4 does. So, sometimes when the volatility is very high (NFP or Rates), I get a message telling me that" the order could'n be executed because the price has moved" and I have to click Buy/Sell again.

Michel: Do you have enabled maximum deviation from quoted price? I prefer to set 5 pips slippage to be sure that my order is executed.

Good luck with trading!

I am using 2 or 3 pips following the pairs. With 5 pips may be you will never be requoted, but you may add 10 pips to the anounced spread..., and do not hope that sometime the requote will be in your favor : this time is done...
