Thanks

MIG Investments Data?

Hi all,

I have some important questions as I am seriously concerned: I left one EA to test my demo account on MIG Investments while I am at work ... And when I came to home I saw that my balance is -2 000 000 approx ...

I saw that two pairs I was testing:

- CHFJPN - Dropped from 90.31 to -0.4 and obviously all my BUY positions became HUGE minus ...
- EURCHF - jumped from 1.5 to 2 ... and obviously all my SELL positions became HUGE minus ...

How that was possible? Please check my screenshots and screenshot with version I use of MIG's MetaTrader?

And second question is: I understood by reading their docs that client's balance can't go in minus. Is it correct? Margin should protect that - isn't it

In meantime I checked ACM and other brokers and nowhere I could find that huge jumps. What can be problem ... Is MIG doing it on purpose to 'kill' EA robots?

Looking forward to get these answers soon

Regards,

Aleksandar

I had that once on Velocity 4X demo. It was thousands of pips straight up on GBPUSD charts, making them useless. I couldn't find any way to fix it. It loaded off the server. It didn't get so I could ignore it for a very long time (when it was really old) and my indicators weren't messed up any more. That probably took a few weeks.

You can change the false data by going to your tools tab >> history center click on the currency pair in question go to the one minute (this is best I beleive) and find the bad data and double click on it, It will bring up another window what you want to do is change the bad spick to the correct amount if you have it or change it to the amount of the closing price of that bar and save it. If worst gets to worse you can change all the data points of the bad bar to the open price of the next bar. when done this will return the screen back to normal, all the indicators will then work again but it may have a small discrepency in the out come for a while but it should not effect your analysis, see attached screen shot
