PhoenixFund is an IB for FXDD. Our collective experience using FXDD appears to be solid execution, no requotes for the Phoenix EA, a lot of people in the black (if they follow suggestions) but some people who just forget about EA and come back to an account in the red.

PhoenixFund is a nonprofit that trades the IB fees and donates half of the proceeds to charities while the other half are reinvested.

Is there anyone lost connection to FXDD live server as me??

I have lost it about 1 hour since 22:00 EDT, but their demo server are still working. In the same time, FXDD website also lost connection, looks like internet path broken at Border7.fe0-0-fenet1.nyc.pnap.net (209.191.128.75).

Demo server work only with HK datacenter, and also cannot connection to DataCenter 1,2,3. I have try connect live server to HK, but it failed too.


Do you have same problem now or before? How can I modify/close my float position now? Is there any phone desk can be executed?

Since website also disconnected, I have no their phone# in hands....

FXDD live server is down, demo is working.

I heard a version that it's an electrical problem in the building where the live server is hosted!

I have contacted FXDD service, they claim that due to internet ISP service outage. and will be recovered after half hours (count from EDT 23:20), but I doubt it.

BTW, they can execute dealing by phone for emergency.

If do so, I cannot believe that a 24x5 real-time trading service company has no continues power backup plan...... I even cannot believe they has also no internet backup plan....

It's definitely scary.
There are ppl trading hundreds and thousands of positions...and hop: no more control. Just a phone call to close all open trades or so.
But you can still use the demo server to at least follow your charts and set your trades by phone.

Have your own backup plan if you trade with real money!

Can someone please comment on what Darknor meant by this in post #61...

...why should forgetting about the EA matter? Or should you follow up on every trade to see if it was executed correctly with FXDD?

FXDD just gave me a free subscription to trade the news which is like a mini Reuters platform.
Ive used TTN before and think there complete crap they lag like a mofo even with my system at optimal performance and the info numbers etc from news comes through with characters/text missing and wrong etc.
I think this is just a scam for TTN to try and sell me crap I don't believe FXDD would be paying for me to have a free subscription to a news service.
I also think FXDD manipulate there data constantly to try and empty accounts.
Weather or not they trade against us we will never know, FXDD themselves don't trade but the company who owns them Tradition does trade most likely against us.
Its funny how FXDD would want people to trade the news spikes knowing how risky it is also they give all the time free money to people in accounts to put in more money and trade more.
Why would people be wanting to be putting more money IN FXDD they should be making profits and taking it out!
