maybe you can explain what i do not understand. you state that whenever you find a better lp with better spread you will move the collective en masse to the new lp. how does that work? if traders have a position in profit opened, let's say when the market was 300 points from where it is now, how do you transfer that position over to the new lp at the same price for that trader. wouldn't that lp have to accept a 300 points loss?

BluePearl,

You are correct. We cannot move open positions we all NEED to be flat.
These moves would only happen once we reach our targets. When that happens we will inform our members and ensure that everyone if flat. Then we move the funds to the new LP and then start trading again.

Just for the record, its not just a 'better spread' that we are looking for. We need a better spread and decent execution of our orders. The two do not necessarily go hand in hand.

Thats quite amusing.

What is most flattering though is that they recognise the value of our 'Flat Fee' model and are replicating it, albeit with artificial spreads and a dealing desk too!

Thanks 4of7. OneCorpFX's Account Application and Customer Agreement forms are virtually identical to those from The Collective. Here is a link to OneCorpFX's pdf file

http://www.onecorpfx.com/client_agreement.pdf

Is there an innocent explanation for this? Perhaps the forms are standardized. But even if so, as miket posted, OneCorpFX's Customer Agreement contains a link to The Collective's web site.

Hope to be assimilated soon...

Light,

You quoted my previous answer to miket back to me. How is your question fundamentally different to miket's?

To be more concise though: They are OUR forms that have been copied VERBATIM.

Thanks again 4of7. Your website is excellent -- very informative. I am very happy to have heard about you. And just in time too...

I was indeed looking for clarification about OneCorpFX, and for good reason. I had already been referred to OneCorpFX by other traders, and had printed off and was considering their contract when I found this forum. I know of other traders who have already signed up with them, using the application in my link above, not knowing that it was "borrowed" from The Collective. Perhaps that is not illegal, but it certainly appears unethical. And I know for a fact that some traders (perhaps many) are currently trading new accounts with OneCorpFX based on that application. If appropriate, I hope The Collective will notify OneCorpFX of this transgression and ask that they refrain from using The Collective's documents for their purposes.

Thank you again for the reply. Best wishes for the success of The Collective...

Light,

They were informed when miket brought it to our attention.

More fool them for not changing it. I wonder how many new visitors we've had at their expense? No matter, but if it were me I'd be wanting to check and double check that I'd removed all references to other people from my contracts, especially web links

Thanks for your comments.
